Having raised a family of 4 children, I have loved and cared for most household animals, gaining knowledge and intuition on the requirements and needs of each special individual. Our pets included dogs, cats, caged birds, mice, guinea pig, rabbits, chickens/ducks, tropical fish/gold fish. I've been House Sitting since 2018 and my experience includes suburban HSs with cats, dogs and birds, and in the Country; livestock: horses, cattle, goats, sheep and alpaca, also a Horse Stud and a Dog Breeder. I have also been an Amateur Beekeeper with 3 working/harvesting hives. Recently, I have also gained experience with running an Airbnb.
I am a very keen gardener and while on my own property in Northern NSW I grew all organic produce including vegetable and 30 tropical fruit and nut trees. To give you some idea of my capability, I am able to mow, whipper snip, chainsaw and use most power tools. I have experience with ride-on mover and a 6 wheel Gator. I do have experience in maintaining a swimming pool, and watering system.
I possess high personal integrity and accountability. I am honest, friendly, considerate and reliable.
I am non smoker & Vegetarian. Some of my interests include bike riding, spinning wool, sacrid geometry drawing, meditation and connecting with our natural world.
I am happy to keep you updated about your pets during your holiday as you wish. I treat everyones pets with the utmost care and loving attention they deserve and I have respect for your home and property.

If you are fortunate enough to engage Jennie for a house sit, you are getting someone who is caring & committed to provide you with her best efforts and then some!. Jennie took on our farmlet mid Covid.. it was not prepared in any way for her as we had been absent for a couple of months and yet Jennie overcame quite a few challenges including power outages, equipment failure & a cranky ride on mower so capably - nothing seemed to faze her for which we are so greatful.

Jennie took on the care of our home, our pets, our garden and our orchard. She came in for a meet & greet before the sit so that we could feel at ease about leaving the place in her care.
As we saw in the cheerful photos she sent us, Jennie quickly made friends with our animals, cats and sheep alike. She took the same care with the garden and orchard that she did with our home. Thank you Jennie.

Jennie is a fabulous housesitter and we can recommend her. Communication was easy and we connected quickly on our first telephone call talking about cats, gardening and bees.
Jennie arrived a day before our departure to get familiar with our property and animals. During our time away we received some photos and videos which was lovely. On return the house and garden were in great condition and our very shy cat absolutely relaxed.

Jennie was wonderful right from the beginning. Our dog Fudge was happy and relaxed when we arrived home and Jennie sent updates and Pics while we were away. She interacted very well with the dogs, and cared for all the pets and the garden very well. She was very aware of differing homeowners expectations, and happy to communicate as much or as little as we wanted. With only a couple of phonecalls and a 1 hour meet and greet before we left she was still able to instill a sense of capability and trust. We can highly recommend her.

Jennie is well organised and was responsive to our advertisement taking the time to travel to Buninyong to meet us and Tilly ahead of the house sitting period. We returned to a beautifully clean house, happy cat and well watered garden, making our holiday a wonderful experience. Jennie was great! We were a little nervous using Aussie House sitters for the first time but Jennie made us feel very safe. She reassured us the entire time we were away sending us pictures of our puppy on walks or sleeping :-) We came home to a beautiful clean house, watered garden and a very happy puppy!
