Hi, I am a 16+ experienced house sitter with great reviews and have a huge love for animals, nature and living sustainably. A fit, active, healthy, high energy 63 years of age single Australian male ready to care for your loved ones and look after your house/gardens.
Recently returned from spending 4 years in South Africa where amongst other things I was helping to manage a 13 hectare grazing farm that was off-grid, had chickens, our own food forest and vegetable garden.
I am a clean, tidy, trustworthy Virgo who doesn't smoke and have many years experience caring for pets (dogs, cats, chooks, horses, fish, birds ...) and would love the opportunity to look after your precious ones. I work from home so able to pay extra attention to your loved ones. It will be my pleasure to take great care of your pets and your house.

I didn't even need to think twice about choosing Richard to look after my furkids and home after reading his bio. I knew he would be perfect and perfect he was.
From the regular updates and pics sent, to returning to the house and gardens being left immaculate- I just can't recommend Richard enough and would definitely have him sit again.
The babies were sad to see him leave, he looked after them so well and they enjoyed having him be there with them.
Richard was fantastic and I can't thank him enough.

Richard was a dream house sitter. He showed an interest in my pets and took care to ensure they were happy and healthy throughout the sit. He also took great care of the house and garden. I received regular updates while I was away ensuring peace of mind. We returned home to a very clean house and 2 very happy and content pets. No hesitation is recommending Richard at all.

Richard was an excellent house sitter. From our first conversation I felt confident that my 2 fur babies and house would be well looked after. It was wonderful having Richard caring for everything while I was away. He is very clean and a great communicator. My animals were very happy and well cared for.

This was the first time we’d had a house-sitter to look after our 11 year old border collie. We were away for 20 nights. When we arrived home the house was very clean and tidy, our small garden nice and neat, indoor plants watered and, most importantly, we came home to a relaxed and happy dog.
