I am an active, caring, and mindful human. I adore animals of all kinds, being in the garden, and spending time in nature. I have experience house-sitting and have cared for cats, dogs, goats, guinea pigs, and chickens. I'm open to all situations/animals/homes. I love exploring new places and meeting new people and animals. I will care for your furry companions and pets with the utmost care and love.

I am currently travelling the South Coast of NSW and would love to do some housesitting in this region, anywhere from Batemans Bay to Mallacoota. I'm eventually heading south to Victoria and open to housesits in the mountains, Melbourne, Gippsland and Geelong/Otways. I am also interested in visiting Tasmania over the summer so open to sits there too.

A bit about me:
I'm from the Otways in Victoria and I've been working as a community care worker in the aged care sector. I'm now off on an adventure to experience new places and learn new things, following my heart as they say!

I love to do all sorts of crafts, read, cook, bushwalk, and I especially love gardening and growing food and herbs. I also enjoy being a homebody, and I'm happy to be with your furry companion more often than not, whether that's being more home based or taking them out with me. I love to get out and about for walks, swims and to generally explore the area.

You can be sure I will care for your home as I would my own and leave it as it was when I arrived. I am respectful, tidy, considerate, environmentally conscious, and a good communicator.

Elke was simply wonderful. The house was spotless when we returned, and the dogs were calm and content. Our Labradoodle is picky who she connects with and easily goes off her food when stressed. She also needs regular medication for arthritis. With Elke she was comfortable straight away, and Elke was totally confident with giving medication. She also walked the dogs every day. We would love to have Elke back. Thanks so much for everything Elke!

This was the first time we have had a house sitter and we couldn't be happier. Elke was really accommodating and met with us and our dog beforehand. He's a big Lab X German Shepherd and we wanted to make sure she was comfortable with him. Instantly we knew there would be no issues. She was great with communication while we were away. And the best thing was returning to a house that was absolutely spotless! We would definitely ask Elke to come back again!

Elke and Nick were wonderful house and pet sitters as they communicated with me, sent photos of my puppies having lots of cuddles and even took them to the beach! I was impressed when I met them and equally impressed when I returned as my home was immaculate and my puppies well cared for and happy. Thank you Nick and Elke for spoiling my puppies, cooking for them and they adore the seaweed treats. , I highly recommend them to any prospective client.

Elke and Nick were able to house sit for me at last minute's notice, which was really wonderful. Communication was thorough prior to the housesit and throughout the whole housesit, including photos of the pets and information on their outings. George had medications too, which Elke and Nick were happy to administer.
