Sue & Phil Kenny

Hello, my name is Phillip Kenny, and I am 6 years into retirement with my better half Sue.
I have been Business Owner of a very successful real estate franchise for 39 years which I have since sold to my daughter Tammy.
I am an active volunteer firefighter in our local Fire Brigade and have served 47 years so far.
Sue trained and worked as a nurse in the UK prior to joining the Police Force where she served for 18 years.
Upon arriving in NZ she lived on a sheep station doing a bit of calf rearing on the neighboring farm. Since then, she worked as an industrial nurse before taking early retirement.
We are active, trustworthy, and very reliable, non smoking people who don’t have any pets now but would love an opportunity to look after yours while you take a break.
We tend to spoil our four grandchildren and maybe we could spoil your fur babies too!
Our hobbies include Gold Fossicking, fishing, off roading (mainly beaches and rivers) -driving in our side-by-side Polaris looking for good fishing spots and gold fossicking ground, Bike rallies and touring New Zealand on our Harley Davidsons with or without our friends, Vintage Car Club/Classic Car runs both local and throughout New Zealand, Camping and boating on Lake Benmore, overseas travel especially hopping over to Australia, and gardening at our lovely home.
Sue and I are offering to help busy people get a break away from home knowing their precious “families” and properties are being well cared for. We live in Ashburton, NZ but are willing to travel for house sits.
It also gives us another opportunity to meet ‘new’ friends from all around New Zealand and further.
We are experienced in house sitting, looking after all sorts from fish to livestock and everything in between. Hopefully you will give us the opportunity to care for your precious pets and home.
