Caring, experienced Pet & House sitter
Hi there!
I am a mature, honest, caring person who truly loves looking after people's pets, homes and gardens. My commitment to quality service is recognised by Aussie House Sitters' by being awarded their Platinum membership status.
I was a homeowner (and pet owner) in the Blue Mountains and Sydney before coming to Brisbane 15 years ago. Because of that I truly understand what makes a house a home - for both pets and people. To me, it is all about giving attention with love.
The majority of my time is spent at home studying, which means plenty of loving company for your pets.
I have many excellent references (available on request, so please ask), my own car, and am a non-smoker. My animal friends to date have included dogs (large and small), cats, horses, fish, cows, snakes, axolotl, chickens, guinea pigs - and guinea fowl!
My friends would describe me as a "people-person" with a giving, caring nature, a perpetually positive outlook, and an irrepressible sense of humour. I'm resilient and capable.

It can be a concern having someone you don't know stay at your home.
From the start Sue was a great communicator and provided us a detailed fact find sheet so we could provide her with all necessary details about the dogs and the house.
We did a Facetime meeting with her and immediately felt comfortable. We met with Sue the day we left and she seemed wonderful. The dogs really took to her.
Sue kept great confirmation with daily doggie pics to let us know our fluffballs were happy.

It is always a little concerning when you leave your home and much loved pets with someone you have only met twice before we left.
We needn't have been concerned, Sue was fabulous! Our boys loved her and she looked after them so well - grooming them most days and spending time with them. I'm not sure they realised we were gone, as their routine remained the same.
Sue kept in touch with us regularly and sent photos of 'the boys' often. This in itself was so reassuring.

Sue was excellent as our house sitter. She was very accomodating to fit in with our schedule, several times as we had competing family issues at home and our destination. She was great looking after our boys, and sent us their pics, and our house and yard were well looked after while we were away. Everything was clean and tidy on our return. Sue is very organised, she even has a form she uses to get all the necessary information required before the sit, she ensures she knows all of the pets' needs. She made me feel so at ease, it was my first pet sitter and it was a great experience.Thank you

Sue was an awesome sitter. She was no mess no fuss; extremely professional and I felt so confident in her. She sat at incredibly short notice without any dramas; she was the first sitter I didn't meet in person because of the time frame; but she managed superbly with complicated locks and leashes and obviously had enormous common sense to get it all done and working without instruction. I would recommend Sue highly.

I highly recommend Sue as a super friendly and reliable house sitter. My little old pets, a 15 year old mini foxy and 17 year old cat, were well looked after and happy. The house was left sparkling clean and tidy, the garden and my many pot plants were flourishing, and the pool was spotless. Sue went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and pets well cared for.

Sue you are a star - i felt so comfortable leaving you with my babies - they were so spoilt and the regular updates were great.
They loved their bones and were so relaxed when i got home.

Sue made it very easy for us to take a rare short break from our precious animals. After meeting Sue prior to our getaway, I was confident that our house and animals were in good hands which enabled us to relax and enjoy a short break away! We returned to a tidy house, and our 3 horses, little dog and chooks were all well cared for in our absence. This was no easy feat as the horses in particular needed separating at feed time which Sue confidently managed following my instructions to a tee!
