I live in London but I have a big trip going to Australia and New Zealand for 10 weeks! Flying into Sydney on New Year’s Eve! For the fireworks! So exciting!
I have some trips booked already but I have some gaps in my itinerary and would really like to sample the way people live here and explore some areas around Sydney.
I’m a Silver member of House Sitters UK. I’ve been with them for two years. I’ve now linked the UK and Australia’s accounts so you should be able to see my reviews, all 5* :).
Before I joined this site I have been pets sitting for my friends and neighbours so you can be sure that I will give your home and pets all the love and attention they deserve.
I am trustworthy, reliable and dependable.
I am a house owner and a landlady and have high standards. I’ve also been an AirBnb super-host for a number of years.
Following a redundancy a couple of years ago I’ve decided to take an early retirement. I’ve worked in financial services in London for over 30 years.
I’ve decided to have a go at house sitting after my husband passed away. I find it’s a great opportunity to explore new areas and spend time with gorgeous cats and give them all the love and affection they need. It’s also super nice to meet their owners and get to experience their home’s heart and soul. Hotels will never give you that lovely feeling.
I love to travel, walking in nature and gardening. I love animals, particularly cats. My cat, Ollie is 17, and diabetic - needs twice daily insulin injections but he is doing really well. We’ve had him, and his brother, since they were tiny. Sadly his brother passed some time ago. My daughter and her boyfriend live with me and look after Ollie when I travel.
I am gentle, thoughtful and caring. I treat the homes and belongings of others with respect and care just like I would treat my own.
