WHO WE ARE - We are two warm, friendly, mature Kiwi's.........older, but not yet worn out! from the Bay of Plenty in NZ. Thanks for checking out our profile.
We are a genuinely kind, caring, intelligent, positive and honest couple, looking for pets and homes to love.
Please don't be put off by our age .......we are still young at heart with plenty of fun, enthusiasm and experiences of life to help us through the most difficult problems, and best of times. We are independent and adaptable, love travelling, and finding our own way.........loving all the animals we care for, from cows to guinea pigs.
We dont smoke, throw parties, nosey through your personal belongings, or have people to stay. We have a clean police record available, international driving license, with insurance, and will come almost anywhere in Australia for a good long period of time. We'd love a car if one is available, but can hire, use public transport.......failing that we can walk!

WHY WE WANT TO HOUSE SIT - Our early life was one of marriage, children and caring for our small farm, horticulture, and house building business's, but always had a hankering for travel and seeing new things and places. Farm animals and pets were always a part of this life, so looking after your pets and farm animals, is something we like to still do, but now for you.

OUR EXPERIENCE - We began house sitting in 2011 with 'Mind my House' and 'Trusted Housesitters' giving us numerous sits in far away places, from Faial in the Portugese Azores to local NZ and Australia. We have happily survived and thoroughly enjoyed all of these.

WHAT CAN WE BRING TO YOUR ASSIGNMENT - We take seriously the responsibility of your home and animals, and its security. We'll love and care for your animals, walk and talk with them, play with them, get assistance to them when they are sick. We'll also report to you about their welfare weekly, or daily if you wish.
We have always owned a home, so know how it feels to entrust your home to some stranger. We are handy and capable when it comes to repairs, or dealing with unfamiliar equipment, and can keep in touch with you should anything go wrong in the house. Keeping the house aired, dry and clean is something we are used to, along with care and water for plants and mowing of grass.
