Carmel & Michael

We are Carmel and Michael, a recently retired professional couple with a lifelong love for animals. Having always had pets ourselves, we understand how important it is to leave your pets in safe, loving, and capable hands.

Our Background:
I have held senior roles as a General Manager and Chief Financial Officer in multiple industries and can provide a current police check for added peace of mind.

Michael has served with the Department of Defence as a member, Senior Public Servant, and contractor, requiring a very high level of security clearance throughout his career.

Experience with Pets: We have had pets all our lives, dogs including beagles, Labradors, and a variety of cats. We have been house-pet sitting for the past few years privately, including; An elderly golden retriever during many school holidays. A blind Staffordshire Bull Terrier who required special care and attention.

While new to professional pet and house sitting, these personal experiences have equipped us to manage various pet needs, from daily walks and feeding to providing extra care when required.

We are house-proud and respectful, treating your home with the utmost care and ensuring your pets feel comfortable, loved, and well-attended during your holiday. Likewise, we would like a home that is clean and comfortable for our stay.

As we begin the first year of our retirement, we’re looking to explore Australia while our home is being renovated. We love road trips and visiting new locations. Pet and house sitting not only allows us to experience new areas but also gives us the joy of spending time with animals—something we truly cherish.
