Carolin 🌻

28, Assistant Manager at a Rental Car Company

I am leaving Cairns on the 21.10.2024 - travelling across the top to Broome and then down the coast to Perth. Open to any housesit possibilities along the way. - Happy to video call over WhatsApp to give you more of an impression of who I am :)

Hey guys,
A friend of mine recommended this side to me and I thought I give it a shot. I have done heaps of house sits but mainly over Facebook. Happy to provide references.

A bit over myself:
I am a 28-year-old German traveler that got lost in Australia for 4 years now. I have been to New Zealand before and planning to go to Asia next. So, I totally understand the itch to go travelling or on holidays. And the worry about your home and your fur babies to be safe in the meantime.
At the moment I am working parttime as an assistant manager at a rental car company and study leadership and management. That's one of the reasons why I am housesitting. My studies are quite expensive, and I am on my own to make it work. Furthermore, I would need a quiet place so I can concentrate. A big plus would be if I had some furry company as a positive distraction.
I grew up on a little farm with heaps of animals and taking care of them was part of my daily routine. And as I said before I have done a few house sits in New Zealand and Australia as well, where I looked after all kind of animals. And it honestly brings me heaps of joy, because I miss my fur babies from home a lot and currently, I am not in a position to get one of my own.
I am a very respectful and clean person and take my responsibilities seriously.
And if I have any questions, I will always check in with you.

I wouldn't mind getting a police check done, but as an overseas traveler on a working holiday or student visa, they wouldn't let you in the country if you had anything on your record.

If I messaged you, please feel free to call me directly.
I like to meet people in person, so both parties can get a better feeling if they can trust each other.

CLAUDIA (Redlynch/Cairns QLD, Aug 2024 - 2 months)
Carolin was very pleasant, considerate and easy to work with. Communication was good and she kept me up to date with anything that was happening during her stay. Carolin managed a couple of unusual situations and kept me well informed. The house was left in a very good state and she put in a big effort to ensure my return to my home was pleasurable. Some of Carolin's family members from overseas stayed for a couple of days (with my permission) and they thanked me for the opportunity and ... MORE

JACQUELINE (Kuranda QLD, May 2024 - 4 weeks)
Carolin was the first house sitter I have ever used, Carolin has set the bar extremely high. After first contact, Carolin came to the house to introduce herself and everything just flowed from there, nothing is to much of a problem and more than capable of problem solving and resolving it. Carolin is easy going and it was a pleasure to meet her.
