May I introduce ourselves:
Catherine and Didier from Brussels (Belgium),
Together a happy and healthy couple for 39 years who have led a full life together. Now taking early retirement ( we are in our early 60 ies). We are visiting our daughter (Evy) in December Januari Februari March who lives in Brisbane.
We are proud parents of two wonderful girls;
who grew up to quickly and live there happy lives with their partners.
We have always had great dogs who have been a true pride and addition to our family. Our last family dog left us 2 year ago. He was a cross between a Canadian Shepherd and a Saarloos Wolfdog, beautifully loyal and always ready to go. We also have experience looking after horses as we owned a family prairie for a number of years.

Walking with a four-legged friend is therefore a pleasure for us as well as a great way to explore, we miss doing so greatly.

Our daughter and her husband (Evy and Jack) live in Stanford Heights (Brisbane) and are also great with animals. They have used the Aussie house sitters website in the past also. We are greatly excited to see them after years apart! And wish to discover Australia with time and spend some time in nature. So if you want help, with your beloved animals, we are happy to help and provide them with love untill you are back home.

Armed with your explanations, we are already looking forward to fulfilling the care and dog sitters pleasure
so that your holiday can also be a great one.

Catherine and Didier looked after our house, five chickens and two cats for three weeks in December 2022. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and respect with which they looked after our property. They really go the extra mile. Our pets clearly considered them as family after just a few days, from emailed photographs. In addition we had to unexpectedly delay our return and they rearranged their own plans to accommodate this inconvenience. I recommend them without reservation.

Catherine & Didier are exceptional house siters and we arrived home to a beautiful clean house, happy pets, thriving plants and gardens.(& chocolates) At all times communication was excellent, from the first messages and emails through to a zoom call. We were so happy to have found such great sitters and knew from our communication we had found the right sitters. Catherine & Didier left us a lovely note as they had to leave the day of our return.
