54, Journalist/Writer
I've worked as a journalist for numerous news organizations around the world. My longest tenure was with CNN as an editor in Hong Kong, where I covered numerous global stories including the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami and the 2011 Japanese earthquake.
I've also worked for The Australian newspaper in Sydney and the Herald Sun newspaper in Melbourne.
I was born in the Australian coastal city of Wollongong, and was an original member of one of its most beloved 1990s bands, the Merry Widows.
When not in Australia or travelling internationally (I'm sometimes commissioned by Australia's largest travel publication, Escape, to write articles of destinations I visit), I can be found hanging out in Hong Kong. I'm currently on contract with the United Nations as an editorial consultant.
I am an extremely experienced sitter and have more than a dozen referrals that state how pleased previous house-owners have been with me, and happy to provide contact details for those house-owners, if requested.
