David & Maraike

Hello! We are Maraike and David, a responsible, animal-loving couple from Germany currently traveling through Australia. We’re both 20 years old and have a wealth of experience caring for animals of all kinds.

David grew up with cats and turtles and currently has four well-loved budgies back home. Maraike, too, has grown up with cats and shared 18 wonderful years with her family dog. We both have experience taking care of rabbits, and Maraike has additional knowledge in caring for chickens.

We understand the responsibility and trust involved in caring for someone’s pets and home, and we’re dedicated to providing the attention and affection your pets deserve, since we already did Housitting with three cats at home in Germany.
As backpackers, we value a peaceful place to call home temporarily and can promise the utmost care and respect for your home and animals.

We’d be thrilled to help care for your pets, giving them all the love and attention they need while you’re away. If possible we would be happy to go to work during the day.
