6O +, Retired
Hello all, my name is Sue and I would like to introduce myself to prospective home and/or pet owners. I currently reside in Queensland.
I am an experienced non-smoking house sitter, reliable and caring. I will treat your pets like my own, as part of my family, and keep you regularly updated with messages and photos.
A former home owner myself, I will take exceptional care of your house and/or furbies. My goal is for you to come back from your time away to a clean home and very happy and healthy pets. Being retired, I have all the time in the world to be a constant companion to your pet who will always be my main priority, I take my role very seriously. Sitting is basically my job and there is plenty of opportunity for me to sightsee etc both before and after a sit so your home and animals will always be my main focus. I have attached a few photos of some of the adorable furbabies which I have cared for. Each and every one I grew to love so much. It is difficult not to become attached but attached is definitely what happens! Every one of my babies has had their own special idiosyncrasies which brings me so much joy. They all give love and companionship, asking nothing in return but a nice belly rub, cuddles, and food of course!
With a thirst for adventure and a love for animals, I combine my passions by travelling the world, caring for pets and living as the locals do. I have now succumbed to my inner gypsy and have begun home and pet sitting on a permanent basis. We only have one chance at life and my plan is to see and experience as much of it as possible. In 2019, I sold my home, packed my bags and began what was to be house/pet sitting throughout the world and was booked with sits throughout Asia and the UK. Unfortunately, that dreaded virus struck and my dreams were shattered. But now we are free to travel again and I have been doing so since borders reopened and people began once again to live normal lives.
Before retiring, I worked in customer relations and sales. For five years when I had my home, I hosted international language students for one to three months at a time and have also been an Airbnb host. I love all animals, my Ziggy Dog was my whole life, like my child, but sadly I lost her a few years ago - she cannot be replaced. She is the one with the big "Christmas ears" in my photos, though I am a few years older now! I have a great zest for life, travel certainly broadens the mind and instils an amazing sense of understanding with all those we meet along the way. Previously I have had darling doggies, very beautiful cats and also fish, rats, birds, name it, I have had them all - all creatures great and small. Being a very capable female, I know how to care for a home and for property. Quite the handywoman, I enjoy gardening, mowing lawns and any small maintenance work that needs doing and have maintained many swimming pools at various sits. I created my own sanctuary at home with palms, ponds, gardens etc.
So that's a little about me. If you would like to consider me to care for your home and/or furbies, I am happy to chat via phone, Messenger or whichever communication works best for you, I am available 24/7 if need be.
Thank you for taking the time to read all this, I look forward to sharing the love.
Take care
Sue
