Marc & Christine

We are a happy, active and reliable couple looking for house sitting opportunities. We have both independently and together completed several house/pet sitting jobs in New Zealand, Ireland and the UK. Whilst we are new to this site, we can provide numerous references from previous house sit jobs having built up valuable, trusting relationships with our previous hosts.

A little bit about us-

Marc- I am originally from England, I am a New Zealand citizen after working and living there for the past 10 years. I am a carpenter by trade and have spent the last 4 years teaching trades in Ara Institute in Christchurch, New Zealand. My hobbies include playing guitar and making furniture.
I have a strong connection to animals after a life of owning many pets from my childhood. With both parents working animal welfare all my life I grew to have an overwhelming love for all types of animals.

Christine-I am from Ireland but lived for 2 years in New Zealand on a working holiday visa. I work in early years education, teaching to preschool age children. In my spare time I enjoy reading, arts and crafts and walking.

I have always loved animals. I grew up with numerous cats and litters of kittens my entire life. On some occasions, I was required to provide around the clock care for litters as young as 2 days old. Although I have never owned a dog, I have done countless pet sits over the past 4 years in New Zealand, Ireland and the UK. During these wonderful opportunities I made many dog friends. I also had the opportunity to care for a rejected lamb by bottle feeding for 12 weeks.
