It started last year that I discovered the beauty of housesitting: While spending time in New Zealand and Australia, several times I was given the opportunity to experience what it is like to look after people's pets while living in their home. I am very grateful for the great experiences I had! I am a big fan of the overall idea of housesitting: that I can help someone out while being able to get a glimpse of local life in a certain region. I think it is a beautiful arrangement that both parties benefit from!

I ended my time in Australia in April this year in order to return to Europe and work at a mountain hut for the summer season. I am now coming back to Australia and I am very much looking forward to doing more housesitting! I plan on cycling down the East Coast (yes, on a bicycle ;-)), taking my time in doing so and housesit whereever someone wants me to do so. I don't have my heart set on a specific place, I will adapt my itinary to housesit offers that seem tempting to me and I am curious about what sort of places I will come across this way!

If this sounds too "free-flowy" to you, let me ensure you that I am very good at planning and adjusting to dates we agree on! I am a super reliable person: Once I commit to a housesit, you can count on me 100 percent! I will take very good care of your property and your pets and will do my very best to provide the care and attention each animal deserves! I am aware of the responsibility that comes with looking after someone's beloved home and pet(s) and the trust that's being directed at me makes me want to do an even better job at taking good care of everything!

I am from Germany, 38 years old and way beyond the point in my life where I am chasing parties or nonstopp-entertainment. I don't smoke, I am vegetarian and a very mindful and tidy person.
I am flexible time-wise, so I can adapt to your housesitting dates and I am happy to come around before the actual housesit starts so that you can get to know me and introduce me to the place, pet(s) and duties.
