Hello everyone! My name is Rosa and I am originally from Iceland. I grew up with all sorts of animals, cats, dog, horses, sheep etc.
I moved to Sweden and studied animal care, when I graduated I worked with farm animals in a petting zoo (Skansen) for some years. Sometimes I took care of wild animals too but I have always prefered the coziness of domesticated animals :)
I have plenty of experience with special needs animals, medicines and so on.

I have been in Thailand on and off for the past few years, housesitting and volunteering at a dog shelter.
I have been doing petsitting and housesitting for the last 11+ years. Animals are my greatest passion in life. I feel happy and at home with animals.

I spent a few months in Melbourne on two occasions.
It was amazing, I did housesitting the whole time in different neighborhoods so I understand the city very well and know my way around the tram system.

I have a dog myself (she won't be traveling with me though) so I know perfectly well how important it is to find a good match. I am happy to send everyday updates with pictures and videos.


This time my best friend Amelie will be visiting Melbourne, she's stayed with me during some house sits and is great with animals.
Amelie is 37, a calm person who enjoys video games and always travel with her Nintendo. She's also into exploring new places while playing PokemonGo. Her elderly shiba passed away a few months ago sadly, but pet sitting brings her great joy. She also has experience with dog dementia.

We don't live in the same country anymore so we like to meet up and spend time together while traveling. This is a good way for us to catch up!

Rosa was a fantastic pet and house sitter. She looked after our pup and home perfectly; she was clean and tidy and Juno our dog was very well cared for, Rosa made sure she had a fun time while we were away! Rosa was an amazing sitter and took excellent care of our greyhound, Sunny! She was super communicative and gave us regular updates on Sunny, includes lots of photos which was lovely. She walked Sunny multiple times a day, fed him and gave him lots of love. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived and Sunny looked extremely happy. I would recommend Rosa to anyone needing a sitter!

Rosa is a wonderful cat sitter and my cats immediately felt at home with her. They were very well cared for and I got regular updates on them. Rosa is courteous and communication is great - I felt very comfortable having her to stay and looking after the fur babies! They will miss her and their Icelandic lessons.
