  • Lynn grew up on a farm with horses, sheep and chickens. She has had her own horses for years before moving to go to university. Yordi has no specific experience with farm animals, but is a very handy guy with tools and different types of machinery and vehicles.

Hello lovely pet owners,

We are Lynn & Yordi, a couple from the Netherlands in our mid-twenties. We are slowly travelling the world through Working Holiday's. Unfortunately, we had to leave our own fluffy best friend, our staffy mix dog, at home with his grandmother, so we miss having the joy of a pet on our travels. We have been house sitting in New Zealand for a year, before coming to Australia.

We are experienced pet/house-sitters, and would love to be doing this during our time in Australia. We have experience with lots of different pets; dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, horses, other farm animals and fish. Lynn also has a bachelor's degree in Animal Management, so she has a broad knowlegde of animal care and health.

We are very active and love to take your precious pets on adventures. But we also enjoy cuddeling at home with them. You can take a look at some of the previous furry friends we have looked after in the photo gallery.
Lynn has a history in medical care for pets, so administering medication is no problem. She can also offer basic dog training and help with some behavioural issues.

Lynn & Yordi were amazing housesitters. From the moment we met both of them we knew they were a perfect fit for our pets and property. Our dogs loved them within minutes (a very rare thing for our anxious girl) and my partner and I felt we had found new friends. Felt very confident leaving our old dog in their care. I was a bit concerned as my dog had 11 teeth extractions 4 days before we left. I suggested they come 2 days before we left to transition our dog. Lynn's gentle inspection of my dog's mouth and knowledge of dogs was evident. A lovely couple, easy communication and good caring.
