Hi, My name is Laurie and I am from America. This is my 6th year visiting Australia because I love it here! I have done extensive housesitting in past years, mostly for dogs, but also cats and birds in America, England and Australia. I also volunteered at a dog rescue shelter in Thailand in 2018. I love animals, talking to them, playing with them if they like that, snuggling, or just allowing them to be themselves. I'm also happy to do housesitting without pets, making sure your home is occupied and maintained.

I love many sorts of fitness (running, swimming, hiking, cycling, yoga), being around nature and clean living.

I can provide local (or American/British) references, if required.

I do not have a car, so ideally your home would be within walking distance or bus route so I can get to supermarkets.

Laurie is a lovely lady. She stayed just over a week and kept my house immaculate. The pets adored her and I could tell enjoyed her company. She kept in touch both before and during her visit and I believe enjoyed her stay in Hawkhurst. I felt totally relaxed leaving her in charge and wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to look after your home etc.

Laurie was great - she instantly connected with our dog, Bruno and really cared for him while we were away. She communicated via What's App when it was needed and responded to any messages we sent really quickly. She took really good care of our home too - watering plants and everything lovely and clean when we got home. I would definitely recommend Laurie.

Laurie was absolutely wonderful - caring and thorough asking lots of questions about Frankie's needs and preferences. It is obvious she loves animals and has a calming, caring personality. During her house sit she updated me with photos and reports of Frankie's activities. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.
