I am a fit 65 year old woman who enjoys reading, walking, swimming and spending time outdoors or in nature. I am also currently studying an online Masters degree in writing.
I have travelled and lived in many countries but settled in Australia over twenty years ago. As a retired teacher I have decided to move around and see more of Australia but currently am exploring Western Australia. Always preferring to be part of a community rather than just a tourist, house-sitting seems to me to be an ideal way to do this.
I love animals and enjoy being around them, and I have both owned and fostered many cats and dogs over the years, as well as looking after chickens and a pair of goats some years ago. I have owned two homes so understand what is required to keep a house and garden well maintained. I am well organised, very clean and tidy, and would take care of any place I live in to a very high standard. I am also happy to do some light gardening or other outdoor jobs.
I can supply an up to date police check and verifiable references.
Lynne was a fantastic sitter. She took care of our home and pets while we went to NZ for 2weeks.
Sent me updates with photos of our pup out on walks etc.. which made us at ease.
Even our grumpy cat seemed to have a good time, which he doesn't usually warm to strangers straight away.
House was nice and clean when we arrived back.

Lynne took great care of our house and dog during our 3 week trip. Our dog is reactive and anxious and needs some gentle love and attention and Lynne was excellent with him and changes in his routine. Our house also had some unexpected issues while we were gone, which Lynne dealt with calmly, for which we were very grateful!

Lynne was fantastic. She carefully guided our cavoodle through some uncertainty with us being away and he was happy and relaxed on our return. The photos Lynne sent of him were a real treat and communications were regular and clear. The garden was in better state than when we left and the house was immaculate, with everything as we left it. Could not fault Lynn at all. Was easy to deal with and communicate with, regular updates regarding our rather energetic dog and the house was clean and tidy apon return.

We have no hesitation in recommending Lynne as a house sitter and we would certainly use her again. She looked after our dog and provided regular updates, She also took our dog to the vet to have some sutures removed from an op she had prior to us going on holiday. How home was well looked after and nice and tidy upon our return.
Lynne did a brilliant job housesitting for us recently. On initially meeting Lynne I immediately felt confident and comfortable that she would be a trustworthy and reliable house/pet sitter. As we were off-grid for most of our 2 week holiday, Lynne was able to liaise with my daughter, which she did from time to time. Wow, this was our first house sitting experience so we were somewhat nervous about it all but we couldn't be more happy and blown away by just how amazing Lynne was. She was in contact with us leading up to and throughout the sit keeping us up to date on all the happenings with our pets and home. Our gardens were flourishing beautifully and our home was immaculate when we arrived home. Honestly, I can't thank Lynne enough for taking such amazing care of our home and pets.
