SingleGreetings, I am Jarrod, a single 42 year old full-time house and pet sitter that genuinely loves all creatures great, tiny and in-between.
People find me to be calm, sincere, kind, reliable and responsible. I do not smoke, use drugs, or consume alcohol. I maintain excellent physical and mental health and enjoy the simple quiet life. I am knowledgeable and capable in varying degrees across most trades.
I have many reviews/referrals available for you to read from both Aussie House Sitters and other housesitting sites, a National Police Check certificate, and am more than happy to meet or call if you'd like.
The thing that people tend to find most interesting about me is that I was a Buddhist monk for a decade (I still abide as much as possible within a similar lifestyle and morals).

Many thanks to Jarrod for being an excellent housesitter for us and our shy cat while we were away overseas. The house, garden and cat were all beautifully looked after and Jarrod kept us informed of how our young cat was faring with a photo. We had a number of deliveries which he took care of as well. Jarrod can be trusted to follow through on his commitment eg it is not unusual to have a sitter agree to a sit and then at the last minute cancel it or stop communicating.
The pets were happy and all well. I had to stay away longer and he helped me communicate my needs with my neighbour.
He is a gentleman and very house-proud. My home was let so clean and tidy, probably better than when I left it. :)

Jarrod was our first ever house-sitter, so I was a little nervous of leaving my house and dogs in the hands of a stranger but I needn’t have been! Everything was immaculate and the furkids obviously loved him. I would be tempted to now plan my holidays around Jarrod’s availability!
Jarrod is an incredibly judicious, organised, warm and wonderful person. Franky our cat will miss him terribly. He looked after our garden and the house incredibly well. We would recommend Jarrod to anyone who is looking for someone who is caring, responsible and grounded.

Jarrod is a super star. There are very, VERY few people I am comfortable leaving my animals with, but would have Jarrod back in a heart beat.
