About me: business owner, non-smoker, non-drinker, and a house/pet sitter of over 20 years experience. You can be reassured by my responsible, mature, reliable, honest and good-natured caring for your precious furry friends (whether young or senior) and your treasured abode, with plenty of experience in garden/lawn care if needed.
The peace of mind this will give you as you travel and explore our beautiful state, country or indeed the world is truly priceless.
I am open to short, medium and long term housesits (with a preference for one month or longer) and, as such, will be fielding multiple enquiries at any one time. Preference is given to prompt responders who are clear and decisive. This also means that, although I will do my best to accommodate requests to meet in person prior to a housesit, this won't always be possible, by which case zoom is an excellent alternative.

Our two fur babies Leo and Mattie adore her (and I think it’s mutual!) and we just couldn’t ask for more from her. The location is very handy to either Monash Fwy or Eastlink a bit further up and has everything you could want close by, including Fountain Gate if needed. It was wonderful to be kept regularly up to date with Carolina and Ian's travels with many beautiful pictures and detailed, interesting and humorous blogs. What can I say that hasn’t already been said! Gillian is simply fantastic and ‘fairy house sitter’ does her no justice. I don’t want to be too glowing in my praise cos then everybody will want to book her services. But I must be fair - she is a godsend for the likes of us who want somebody who really cares about what she does. My cats are already missing her!! I will have to make my future bookings soon! It was wonderful to have Gillian available for a second house sit for my home and my 3 cats. Gillian was again great with her communication, during and after this sit. I got photos of all 3 cats, and often they were on her bed and wanting to be close to her, which shows the rapport she had with each of them. My kitten is almost out of kittenhood now, but I got funny stories about how he looked like he was in a circus and flying through the air at times. Gillian even won over my 2 year old ... Bailey is an anxious 7 year old male cat and being able to leave him in such capable hands for over a month was so reassuring to us.
On our return the house was just the way we left it and Gillian treated Bailey so well, I am not sure he wanted her to leave. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any future ... Gillian really is as amazing, as her reviews.. Gillian is the first house/cat sitter I have accepted without a video meetup before inviting her for a meet and greet. Gillian is great with her communication, before, during and as she was leaving my house/cat sit. I got multiple photos (with amusing captions), each day, of all 3 of my cats, and detailed updates of what each of them had been doing each day. Gillian was such an amazing house sitter and pet sitter for my cat and dog. She kept me updated throughout her stay and my pets were very comfortable and happy. Your home has an excellent location near lots of great cafes, restaurants, handy distance to lots of transport options and only a stone's throw to the CBD. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful with lots of street parking available. The housesit flew by as I was enjoying myself so much and it was easy to communicate with you throughout, as you were always prompt, polite and have a great sense of humour (always appreciated!). Kenny and Lou are so easy to love and look after, I'd be happy to return for future housesits and to recommend the assignment to other housesitters too! Thanks so much 😀
Gillian was such a lovely person that made me feel comfortable about having her in my home and looking after my 2 dogs. Gillian is very friendly and sent photos of my dogs which was great. Nothing was too hard or much for her to do. Have booked her for more sits.

Gillian was a fabulous Housesitter, and had our dear Birman Latte still been alive, I'm sure they would have loved each other. I thoroughly enjoyed receiving updates from your travels around Victoria and Tassie, and exchanging witty repartee with people who have an excellent sense of humour (thoroughly appreciated!). Although your beautiful boy Latte has crossed the rainbow bridge, his loving energy is all throughout your home and I felt as I'd gotten to know him anyway.

Gillian was a fabulous house sitter. After meeting her for the first time, I felt very confident leaving my home and very spoilt cat, Missy, in her care. While away I received daily photos of Missy and on my return I had a spotless home and a well cared for cat .I would highly recommend Gillian to look after your home and animals.

Gillian was an absolute delight from our first communication. She sent regular updates/pics and clearly has a wonderful rapport with animals. My feline family were very happy and content upon my return and the house was spotless. I would highly recommend Gillian if you are looking for a responsible, reliable person to house/petsit.

It was a pleasure having Gillian come to sit. When Gillian came to stay, my cats had been a touch unwell and I had peace of mind from day dot r.e Gillian's ability to spot issues with the cats and communicate them if they were to occur.
I came home to a lovely clean house and two very happy cats, what more could you want! I enjoyed Gillian's daily updates, pictures and her stories about my little fluff nuggets' adventures, I highly recommend Gillian for your next sit!

Gillian was great with our two fur babies. They bonded from the first moment they met! She was excellent at communicating with us sending photos and comments. She looked after our home with so much care you'd hardly know she'd been there! Definitely recommend her.

If there were more stars to rate Gillian we’d use them! This is the third time we have had Gillian house and cat sit and we are just so impressed with her amazing ability and skills.
