We started house-sitting a few years ago after retiring & have thoroughly enjoyed house-sits in QLD, NSW, SA, WA, TAS, VIC & NT. We have worked hard all our life and are now enjoying exploring our beautiful country and catching up with family and friends.
We are flexible with dates, pet-free and don't require special parking.
We have owned our own home since the early eighties and have cared for a variety of pets over the years.
We are in our 50's, clean, tidy, organised, fit and active non-smokers. We are both fully vaccinated and have police clearance. Diane has experience as a housekeeper for holiday homes around Port Douglas and has high standards and an eye for detail for home cleanliness and presentation.
Glen is very practical and handy, a jack-of-all-trades, able to maintain and fix most things around the house. He is very capable outdoors with lawn & garden maintenance & caring for pools.
Not being able to have pets ourselves we relish the opportunity to spend time with other people's pets.
We look forward to caring for your home as we would our own.

Diane and Glen looked after our home for 3.5 weeks. We could not have been happier with their communication and care of our property. We were very grateful for the updates on deliveries and post and felt very comfortable that our home was being well looked after. Diane and Glen were very friendly, caring and kind pet sitters for my young dog and 2 elderly Burmese cats. They communicated regularly via sms with photos and kept me updated during the entire 8 day period. I came home to find my home extremely tidy and clean and a meal prepared for my dog ready in the fridge on my return. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter for their dogs or cats

I can highly recommend Diane and Glen to housesit your home and pets. They did an incredible job of looking after my cat, dog, garden and home for nearly three weeks and my house has never been cleaner! They moved in after I left and moved out prior to my return, so we still haven't met in person, however, a couple of messenger webcam calls prior to moving in set my mind at ease. They were very flexible and made the whole process extremely easy. Thank you so much Diane and Glen.

It was a pleasure to meet Diane and Glen. They looked after our house, garden and fledgling front lawn beautifully, and kept in touch with us during our absence to assure us everything was ok. We were also impressed with some surprise extras - our towel and toilet roll holders had been straightened and the mower is now very clean! Thanks! We can highly recommend Diane and Glen as honest, reliable and conscientious house sitters.

Diane and Glen were wonderful. We were very grateful to have such caring people to look after our pets and home. This was the first time away from our 11 mth old big puppy and they connected with us whilst we were on holidays to let us know he was ok and so too was our old lovely cat. They cared for our home as if it was their own. We are very appreciative and would welcome them back anytime!!
