We are a healthy, active, non smoking married couple. Young at heart and keen to embrace new experiences we are loving time exploring and spending quality time with characterful animals. In summer 22/23 we started our home and pet care adventures with sits around Melbourne and Adelaide. We had a lot of fun caring for great cats, dogs, miniature ponies, chickens, lorikeets and even a gecko! All enriched our travel experience and we returned to Australia in November 2023 and again had the best time sitting for pets and some larger animals and meeting lovely hosts. We're back again in Nov 24 and looking forward to more!

Married for almost 40 years and homeowners ourselves we appreciate how important it is that as well as having your pets and other animals cared for you can leave your property safe in the knowledge it will be kept clean, tidy and treated with care and respect. We both drive, have full clean UK licences and use of a small car in Australia.

Fond of the outdoors we would also be happy to feed and water larger animals...cattle, horses, goats, sheep etc. We have helped out on a dairy farm feeding calves, chickens and horses and during our last trip checked on cattle, horses and alpacas during a sit on a small holding.

We've had lovely, positive reviews from all completed sits and been touched that homeowners have asked us to sit again. Its such a rewarding experience.

We can't say enough great things about Helen and Wayne. Communication prior to and during the sit was fantastic, their care of our chocolate lab Davy was first class and we came back to a home in perfect condition. Lovely couple and from the many photos sent Davy looked to be having a blast with them. Highly recommend. Next time we need a sitter and if Helen and Wayne happened to be visiting SA again they would be our top choice.

We were so incredibly grateful that Helen and Wayne took care of our cat and home while we were away. They are so kind and lovely, and were generous with their communication and sharing photos of our beautiful cat. When they noticed the light on in one of our cars, which drained the battery, they even charged it for us before we arrived back. Helen and Wayne were absolutely fantastic and we cannot rate them highly enough. Pet care, house and garden care, exceptional with regular updates and photos. Even had a meal prepared for us when we arrived home. So very thoughtful and unexpected. Our pups missed them very much.

Helen and Wayne are lovely human beings!!! Having not had a house sitter before, I was unsure of how it would go. They gave me peace of mind from the moment I met them. They have a lot of experience and eased my mind about the whole house-sitting process. They asked lots of questions about how to care for my pets, and what to do in an emergency. Can not speak highly enough of Helen and Wayne. This was the first time we had used house sitters and they have now set the bar extremely high. My animals, home and garden were all well cared for during a very hot spell. Wayne is amazing with the horses and the cattle were all in great condition. On our return Helen had washed all their linen and even prepared a light meal for us! They even wrangled a snake which got into the back porch!

Helen and Wayne are repeat sitters for us, They are the lovliest kindest people you could meet and they have looked after our dogs, house and garden so well. They have been so accommodating to us, even when we came back a bit early as the weather was so so bad on our trip away. There isn't too much to write as they are perfect! Helen and Wayne were both fantastic and did an excellent job of looking after our house, garden and pets. Our pets were walked every day and the house was spotless, they even changed and washed the sheets before they left! Helen and Wayne were very easy to communicate with and prompt at replying. Helen and Wayne were absolutely amazing. They looked after our beloved pets for 2 weeks as well as we would have done and took our Pointer, Etosha everywhere with them and sent us regular updates and lovely photos. Our friends and neighbours have all mentioned how great they were and how much they bonded with Etosha and we are so grateful. If we could ever entice them back again we would have them back in a heartbeat !

Helen and Wayne were exceptional house sitters. They provided updates on our 2 cats so that we had an enjoyable holiday, confident that our girls were happy and well. The house was immaculate on our return. As we have just been through a major renovation our garden was area was quite messy and the new plants needed quite a bit of attention going through a heatwave. Helen and Wayne were an absolute delight to host. They were easy to communicate with right from the start and sent me pictures of my cat Tilly whilst I was away. They left my house absolutely immaculate both inside and out! I was away for 9 days with an overnight flight home so came home in the early morning. My house was beautifully cleaned with all the washing done and hung out. My cat seemed very relaxed (she can be quite anxious) and her coat was looking better than ever. I would have them ... MORE

Helen and Wayne were ideal housesitters as they communicated with us frequently about Cokey and the house. They were very helpful eg driving us to the airport and return, also providing a meal for us when we came home. The house was spotless, the house plants looked healthy and our dog was happy. I recommend them to anyone seeking a house sitter as both trustworthy and reliable.

Helen and Wayne are the best housesitters! You always want someone who's going to love your animals as much as you do, and l really felt that they enjoyed being with my pets. Communication was excellent and the house immaculate when l returned. The garden, which l probably love as much as my animals, was well-looked after, including quite a few fragile new plantings. This was a last minute arrangement into a slightly disorganised situation- we had just moved in ! Helen and Wayne were very patient with us as first time users of house sitters. They cared lovingly for our dog and cat even though Maggie the cat was a bit discombobulated with the move. She has settled down now. Excellent communication from Helen and we felt very confident leaving our home and pets in their care and that confidence was borne out.
