Hi
My name is Kerry (John ) and my wifes name is Sue. We are both retired and have been for the past 20yrs. We currently live in a retirement village. We have had pets most of our lives, but as we are now in an apartment and have been for the last thirteen years, we don't have any pets,( they are not allowed) but are still very excepting of all animals.
We have travelled up and down the east coast of Australia extensively and done some house sitting along the way, mainly on the sunshine coast Qld, and mid to north coast NSW.
I am very fit and active, for my age. I walk, swim and exercise in the gym every day. We are both very house proud and non smokers. We don't have a caravan but do travel by car, so would appreciate car parking space.
We're prepared to call in and meet home owners prior to a sit whenever practical. ie, if we're doing a sit nearby or passing through between sits.

An exceptional choice to look after our home,garden and small dog Bobby. John and Sue spent almost 3 moths caring for our precious belongings. The were an easy going couple and there was no fuss with anything concerning this sit. They were easy to communicate with and we met them prior to the sit. John and Sue house/dog sat for us for over 2 weeks in October 2024. They were fabulous sitters and were everything we could have hoped for. John walked the boys regularly and maintained their large area. We had very regular communication and felt they were a caring couple; we had complete confidence in them. We arrived home to two very ecstatic and healthy dogs and an immaculate house! We cannot recommend this couple highly enough!

John and Sue looked after our house and two German shepherd dogs for just over three weeks in September. We returned to an immaculately clean home and the garden looks better than ever! Everything was in its place and the dogs were happy and healthy. The care of one of our dogs was complicated just before we left when he was diagnosed with an eye disease. Kerry (John) & Sue were fantastic. The dog was loved & well looked after but not overfed which is important because she's an old dog. We also noticed how calm and happy our dog was when we arrived home. The garden was nice and green (watered) which means a lot to us since we put a lot of effort into our garden. John and Sue have far exceeded the expectations we have had for sitters. They treated our home like their own and we’ve come home to a cleaner house than we left! Lulu was very happy and well looked after. The only downside to John and Sue is that they live so far away and we can’t have them back each time we go on holidays!

John and Sue were wonderful house sitters. We came home to an immaculate house and a very happy dog. As we had a death in the family and were expecting a house full of visitors straight away, it was wonderful not to have to worry about any cleaning or tidying before our extended family arrived. The lawn was mowed as well & all our pot plants were watered and looking very healthy. I highly recommend them - they will take excellent care of your home.

We just had John and Sue come to take care of our Labrador Rosie, Cat Coco and house. They did a wonderful job. Rosie was walked daily and communication was fantastic. Would highly recommend them both for a sit.

The best decision we made was to join house sitters and to get John and Sue as our very first sitters was a stroke of good luck, they were absolutely wonderful, our fur baby Tia loved them and the attention and walks she got, we were kept informed almost daily on what Tia was doing for the day and sent photo's,. The house was spotless probably better than we left it. Would highly recommend.

John and Sue were absolutely fabulous. They arrived the day before so we could show them around locally and just get our dogs used to them which didnt take long! They stayed in contact all the time while we were away for 5 weeks!! which made us feel relaxed that all was well at home. It can be a little nerve racking to agree to have a person look after your house and animals from only a telephone conversation, but during that conversation with John l could tell he and Sue would be a good fit at our place.
