Hi, I am 52 years old, non-smoker with plenty of experience and references. I am studying Naturopathy online and I can be home as much as needed for company, care and upkeep of your daily routine whilst you travel.

Over the last 6 years, as a full-time sitter, I have had the pleasure of caring for any size/breed of dogs as well as a variety of different cats including rescue. I have enjoyed stays at bigger properties requiring pool/garden maintenance and smaller city dwellings with pot plants.

I am calm natured and live a quiet, healthy life with daily yoga/meditation and truly love animals.

Born Swedish, moved to Australia in 2005 and received my Citizenship in 2017. (Please note I will not bring a pet of my own).

She bonded very well with my 18 y/o cat who doesn't do much these days but does like some tlc, which I felt Gisela managed very well. It was so reassuring to know I could go away knowing Latte (the cat) was in good hands. She left the house in a lovely clean and tidy state which I was also very grateful for. I would highly recommend her for any future housesits.

We needed someone to step in with less than 24 hours notice (as our previous house sitter had cancelled) and she rearranged her plans to help us out at the last minute. Gisela has a wonderfully calm nature and I felt instantly confident that our home, belongings and beloved pets would be safe with her. When we returned a week later, the house was clean and tidy, the chickens were fed and watered and our dogs were very happy too! We could not have been happier, nor had better peace of mind, knowing Gisela was caring for our apartment & our 2 young Tonkinese girls during our 2 month absence. Gisela took lovely care of Bluey and our home, Bluey was relaxed and happy when we returned home and was obviously very well taken care of, with long walks and loving care. We’d love for Gisela to house sit for us again.

Gisela took care of our two cats while we were on holidays and we were very happy with everything. The cats were well cared for, we received updates incl. videos mid-stay and our place was cleaned spotless when we arrived home (thanks Gisela!). Our cats are rescue cats and do not easily connect with new people but with Gisela's calm personality and cat experience, it was no issue. We highly recommend Gisela as a house sitter and hope to book in another stay in 2023!

We conducted a thorough walk-through of the house, pool & garden areas prior to the sit. Detailed written instructions were provided as to the care of the house, garden, pool & potted plants. Garden duties were minimal & involved watering some small areas 1-2 times a week, if necessary. Given that we retained the services of our pool technician, gardener & cleaner for the duration, we felt the brief was manageable. Gisela looked after my sisters 2 dogs and guinea pigs for 3 weeks whilst both of us travelled overseas .. she did a wonderful job of looking after the animals whom were very sad to see her leave .. the dogs were walked daily and well loved and the house spotless.. as I found Gisela on my site my sister has given me this review to post as she will definitely be getting Gisela back to housesit and since has looked after another of my friends dogs and home .. My sister would highly recommend her
