Darren house sat on our property which is a small farm for approximately 5 weeks. When we returned the hose was spotlessly clean, animals happy and vegetables in garden all healthy and well cared for. I hope Darren will be available to sit when I go away again.
Darren was very understanding when issues with our boat delayed our departure date by a month. He was also very flexible with the end date, offering to return to feed our cat if needed after the end of our house sit as his next house sit was in our local area.
Darren did a good job maintaining the pool and lawns.
Inside the house the timber floors were sparkling and the carpets had been regularly vacuumed.

Darren was very meticulous with the housekeeping and cat care. Everything was clean and tidy.
Darren took great care of our home and cat while we were away for over 7 weeks. Not only was the garden neat and tidy but he had also planted some new vegetables. The pool was spotless. Our shy cat didn't take long to make Darren's lap a priority resting place. Darren is always prompt in and concise in his communications. We would very gladly have Darren sit for us again.
Darren was our house sitter for 6 weeks & did a wonderful job caring for our cat Zana who is very shy & he won her over. Plus he mowed all the lawns, watered the plants & kept the house clean & tidy which was a delight to come home too.
While we were away he also had to deal with a major plumbing drama as there was no water for 6 days. Darren notified us immediately & we got a plumber as soon as we could & Darren handled the whole situation admirably.

Darren did an excellent job looking after our house and dogs for a month while we were overseas. He's a very good communicator and always responded promptly and thoroughly to our enquiries. His many years of experience house sitting really shone through. He obviously knows what he's doing a navigated the quirks and foibles of an unfamiliar house with ease. Darren house sat for us over a 2 month period in one of the worst condition experience on the South Coast where it rained almost continuously. He was able to mowed the front and back yard and do the edges. The pool was crystal clean on our return. The chock yard had to be cleaned out due to the rain on a regular basis.

Darren is an excellent housesitter whom we'd very happily request again in the future. He very quickly picked up what needed to be done and was very knowledgable about the features of a rural property. Although we have only 7 acres, the frequent rain and heat meant that Darren had to work relentlessly to keep the grass mowed. This sit had to be cancelled due to the flooding on the mid north coast. Darren was very easy to deal with on the phone, and we came to a mutual decision that cancelling was the best option:-D

This sit was actually during late August-September 2020. Darren was a prompt communicator, responding positively to our weekly-or-so text contact. We weren't too demanding with expectations and overall the sit went well. Darren took some active interest in the veg- and fixed-gardens, but had we been there, we might have been just a little more fussy with the potplants. Darren did a wonderful job looking after my house, garden and cat Henry. The garden has come back to life under his care, lawns mowed, herbs planted and trees looking much healthier. Henry and Darren really bonded so he was very relaxed on my return, instead of being jumpy as he sometimes is when he is looked after by someone else. Darren looked after our 3/4 acre property from mid Aug to mid-Oct 2019.
He communincated well before and during the sit and on return we found the house and lawn to be in as good a condition as we left them - which is always a bonus. While we were away he had to deal with a couple of issues with the lawnmower which he sorted out well. He also did some minor gardening work.
We don't have any pets so we can't comment on that aspect.

Darren is very reliable, responsible and respectful person. Upon our arrival we found our house spotless clean, cats fed and freezer full of cooked food. What else can you ask for :) Would definitely invite Darren to sit for us again if needed.
We found Darren to be the perfect house/pet sitter while we were away. He is very professional in every way; but I felt that by meeting him before we left and when we returned we had made a friend as well...we enjoyed his company.! While the house and garden looked great when I got back home I am not really satisfied with the care given to my home. Maybe the homesit was for too long because Darren obviously treated the house as his own moving things as he liked them and getting rid of things he didn't see purposeful. I don't think my chickens got the care requested either. They were quite stressed when I got back and took a while to trust me again.

Darren looked after our dog and cat recently...house and animals were cared for and there did not seem to be any problems at all with this house sit..I did have some prior issues with my dogs health that Darren was happy to pay special attention to which was a relief. I am sure he takes his responsibilities seriously and I would recommend Darren to other home owners.
I had Darren house sit for me recently for 3 weeks and I couldn't have found a nicer person. I have a rescue dog who is wary of male strangers but rolled onto her back for a belly rub as Darren walked in the yard and this certainly put me at ease about leaving my pets with him for 3 weeks. My house was clean and tidy and my animals were all happy and content when I got home. I would be more than happy to have Darren as a housesitter again knowing that my animals and my house were in good hands
We were very happy with the service Darren provided. The house was clean and tidy when we returned. He had even cleaned the pantry.
Floss was happy and healthy and had obviously enjoyed her time with Darren. He took her for lovely long walks in our surrounding area. All her bedding was clean also.
What more could you ask for when you are leaving your house and pet behind.

Darren looked after our home and dog for a 3 week period while we were on holidays. Our home was well looked after, Jerico our dog was very happy/excited when Darren arrived. Darren was easy to work with and would be very happy to have him look after our house in the future.
Darren was given a bit of a task with three unusual cats, a water access only property and an extensive garden . He accepted the challenge and succeeded wonderfully. I would recommend him for any house sit. I should also mention his lovely manner
Darren sat for us for a period of almost 8 weeks. He maintained our house in perfect order, promptly communicated any concerns to us and cared for our beloved cat, Sam. Darren completed a 7 week sit for us in July and August 2016.
The sit was arranged easily and tasks negotiated. Our dog and chooks were well looked after and our house and pot plants kept in good order. Darren was an honest and reliable house sitter. Hope he is available next time we travel.
Darren has just completed a three week sit for me which included looking after my 13 year pet dog.
As he appeared very aware of his responsibilities as a house sitter, I was able to holiday without any qualms. He left the house tidy and clean, the lawn mowed and refreshments in the fridge for my return.
Darren looked after our house for four months in early 2016. While we were away, he sent periodic e-mails (including some photos) to reassure us that everything was in order. We asked him to mow the lawns, cut the edges, maintain our pool, and water pot plants. Darren house sat for us for three weeks and we were very happy with everything. We came home to a happy healthy dog, a clean and tidy house and the garden and lawn looking great.
Darren had contact with us while we were away and kept us informed on how our dog was doing. He actually had sore eyes when we left and with Darren's daily bathing of them they improved quickly.
