Hello, I am Louise, a 56-year-old single woman from Napier, NZ.
After 30 years of work as a Speech Pathologist, I moved to Melbourne to be near my daughter. I have been house sitting for the last two years.
I will respect and care for your home, pets and things as if they were my own. I will spend quality time with your pets, stay within their routines and maintain the home and garden to a high standard throughout the sit, having everything ready for you on your return. I will keep in contact with you whilst you are away, with as many messages and photos as you can manage!
I will often do tasks that are more than the usual upkeep of your home and property, such as tidying cupboards, spring cleaning, and garden maintenance. Please ask me more about this.
I have owned several homes over the last 25 years, all of which I have renovated to some extent. I am happy pottering in the garden, and pride myself on keeping a clean and tidy home. The house in the photos is my home in Napier, NZ, which I have painted inside and outside. I have also redesigned the garden.
I grew up on a farm with horses, sheep, chickens, dogs and a cat. As an adult, I've always had a dog, and currently have a cat - she's the one you see in the photos. I'm very confident with pets and find them great company. I look forward to getting to know your pets and spending time with them.
I work fulltime in Braybrook, and if required, will walk your dog every day both before and after work, and go for a long walk on the weekends.

Unfortunately I was unwell and unable to travel, I was so disappointed and didn’t want to let Louise down, and advised as soon as I realised I couldn’t travel, however Louise was excellent, understanding and compassionate. I am planning on using her for a a future sit mid year.

She really does adore our fur baby’s, she has such a gentle and caring nature..
The pooches loved her and it showed as they didn’t bat an eyelid when we came home lol
The house was left immaculate and I received updates daily from Louise.

Louise was amazing! She kept us regularly updated with photos and messages. The animals loved her, and were quite possibly sad to have us home. We returned to a house that has never been so clean. Thank you again.
Louise cat sat for me twice in a month due to back-to-back travels and she was absolutely fantastic. She took so much care of my place, even doing some weeding of my neglected garden, and most importantly my cats obviously loved her. They were very relaxed when I came back, and seemed to look for her the first few days if my return.
Louise was an absolute star during her time in our home. Not only did she love, feed and care for our 2 dogs and 1 cat, our home had been beautifully maintained. What a joy it was to come home. Louise went beyond just house/pet sitting, (at my request), she repotted a lot of my plants l had sitting in pots and placed them around our verandah and outdoor entertainment areas where they would grow best. Louise was fabulous. Andrew loved her. Communication was excellent. My home was left in perfect condition. I highly recommend Louise. Even though there was no gardening required, Louise still made sure my plants were cared for and my compost bin was used thoughtfully. 100% happy with Louise. Thank you Louise.
Louise was not only great to deal with, she took really good care of my old boy! I would highly recommend Louise to anyone who wants the best care for their pet.
Louise was such a lovely person to deal with from the beginning. It was clear that she loves animals and we felt so at ease with leaving our cats with her, especially with the updates she gave us about how they were going. She went above and beyond in multiple ways when it came to taking good care of our home. I would be very happy to have Louise house sit for us again.

Louise was fantastic, we had daily communication which was amazing as it was our first time leaving just Lenny and we were a bit on edge!
She did everything she could to make both us and Lenny feel comfortable and safe.
House was kept clean and we were really impressed with the overall experience.
This was our second sit by Louise and we were once again delighted with the care Louise provided to our fur babies and house.
We were kept informed of what the cats were up to each day and we came home to a sparkling house and chilled cats.
Louise was simply amazing. From the outset Louise was easy to get along with, asked plenty of questions to understand the setup, how to deal with the pets etc to ensure that the time with her was as smooth and as easy as possible.
Louise provided regular updates on how the pets were doing which also included photos and this gave us great comfort whilst away that the pets were being well looked after, feed, walked and generally taken care of

Louise was our very first house sitter and she has set the bar very high. Our 2 cats adored her and hardly seemed to notice our return. Our home was in perfect condition when we returned and Louise stayed in touch providing photos and updates while we were away. Louise will be sitting for us again later in the year and I couldn't be happier.
We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Louise. From our first contact she was great with her communication, and throughout the sit she kept in touch with updates, sensible questions and thoughtful offers. Our dog adores her, and the feeling was mutual so we know he was exceptionally well looked after, as was our home. We've already booked her for our next getaway!
