I am a Kiwi mum (both 'kids' are in Melbourne so I'm based here now) who loves to travel. I'm a gardener who reads a lot, a walker who prefers to eat healthy, organic food. I enjoy my own company, writing, playing the piano and taking photos. Happy to send updates and photos.
I've always loved animals and birds and have had many personal and house-sit pets over my life.
I really enjoy taking care of them; talking to them, going for walks, brushing their coats and playing with them, keeping their bowls and litter trays clean. A bit different for birds and other creatures of course :)
I'm a non-smoker who does yoga and I always keep a home clean and fresh. I'm also a very honest person with good communication skills (I've studied and practiced different modalities).
I will take the best possible care of and responsibility for your home and beloved pets.

Donna was an excellent house sitter and our 2 cats certainly enjoyed her company. Everything was left spick and span, Donna is very resourceful and has great initiative. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

Donna is amazing! Our first ever house sitting experience and she made it a breeze. We are so grateful for her caring nature toward our old dog Scruff and our not so friendly cat even warmed up to her and gave her snuggles. Donna we would love to have you back - thanks again! Donna looked after our dog Bobby and our home for a month from late July , early August 2021. She was caring and professional and kept in contact with us whilst we were away. We came home to a happy and calm Bobby and very tidy house. Donna is an excellent Housesitter and I would highly recommend her.
Donna looked after the kids (cats) and garden well.
There was a few minor issues however, as we found shelves rearranged and our personal stuff used. This was quite disappointing as after 2 weeks away you don't want to come home to finding the little things changed in your own home.
Perhaps points to note for the sitter.
Donna was AMAZING. We had an issue only one day into our holiday and needed her to send a spare key that was hidden away - in a not so easily accessible place. Donna happily dug it out for us and sent it on the overnight courier, allowing us to carry on with our holiday.
On top of this, one of our cats decided a visit to the vet was in order. Donna sorted it out and managed to get the prescribed medication into him - he was just fine by the time we got home.

Donna did a great job looking after our very loved pup and our old cat, who does not trust or go to anyone, but Donna had this lovely old boy getting brushed and very spoiled Thank you Donna, and would recommend Donna to anyone who loves there pet and wants there home looked after.
Donna was a terrific find! She is very fond of animals and looked after our two year old cat beautifully. Also our house was very well cared for and was left clean and tidy. She sent us pictures of the cat and communicated while we were away, but we had no worries at all about her level of care. and have no hesitation recommending her to others and contacting her again. Very satisfactory, my dog was a bit of a challenge but Donna did her best and the cat was very happy . The house was lovely when I got back and absolutely trustworthy .

Donna was a great pet sitter. Our cat had a few emergency needs from a fight, and Donna was great at taking her to the vet and showing her the care that we would have. Donna also looked after the house and garden well and she was easy to communicate with. We recommend Donna!
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
