Hi, we are Irene and Jay!
We are an active couple who live on the Sunshine Coast for over 10 years.
I (Irene) am a Primary School Teacher who is passionate about teaching but also carries a warm heart to environment, sustainability, nature, animals. Currently I work parttime from home as a Distance Education Teacher.
I like to share my knowledge, learn from others, meet people, discover different cultures and learn new languages.
My partner Jay, is an absolute animal, nature and wildlife conservation enthusiast. He loves the outdoors, hiking and scuba diving.
He has a friendly and caring personality.
His work experience is in the Tourism, Logistic & Transport industry and Jay is a licensed snake catcher.
Jay volunteered at Australia Zoo, a wildlife rescue organisation and helped the coral restoration foundation in the Caribbean.
We take care of your house as it is our own. We are a non smoking couple, no party people!

Irene and Jay cared for our home and dog for 2 months while we were overseas. They walked our dog regularly and were great at communicating and sending photos for our peace of mind, and asked questions as required.
Irene & Jay did a great job looking after our house, grounds and most importantly our dog Kahu (American Staff). They transitioned into and out of our house seemlessly fitting in with our departure/arrival plans. They noted all our specific instructions and carried them out as discussed. Communication was great as they regularly updated us on Whatsapp keeping us informed on how Kahu was doing and plenty of supporting photos which was really appreciated and reassuring for us.

Prompt communication and organisation right from the start - no mean feat when we had varying (up to 8hr) time differences
I especially appreciated the (multiple) cat photos every single day, and they showed true care and concern with my finicky fish-tank and plants. The place was absolutely spotless when I arrived back - even crumbs out of the toaster

This was the first time we have ever used a house/pet sitter and were away for almost 5 weeks.
Irene and Jay were fantastic. They looked after our dog and house like it was their own.
We came back to a very happy and well looked after dog, a tidy garden, a clean house and even fresh sheets on the the bed.

Irene and Jay are a lovely, respectful couple. They had a big job looking after our place especially the yard. With the hot weather and the rain we know that keeping up with yard maintenance is challenging. However they handled it very well. We came back to a clean house and a well kept yard. Communication was easy and they always responded promptly. We would highly recommend Irene and Jay and hope they will be available for any future housesits.
Irene and Jay are a lovely couple and communicated with us really well. We had no physical handover but did a few FaceTime calls and left sitting notes. During the sit Irene regularly sent us photos of our pets. The pets were so well taken care of with our dog getting plenty of walks. When we got home the house was really clean, all the linen and towels already washed. The lawns cut and the garden maintained. We would really highly recommend them as pet and house sitters.
Irene & Jay were such a blessing for our family. Thanks to their love and care of our dogs and home, we were able to get away for a holiday without any of the usual stresses.
They did a wonderful job bonding with our dogs and really cared to know their needs & wants. They maintained a great level of communication, keeping us updated with videos and photos.

Irene and Jay took such good care of my dog Bruce. I was anxious to leave him as he'd only ever stayed with family previously but they sent regular updates and photos during the stay. Communication prior to the stay and during was excellent and made things so easy to organise and really put my mind at ease when we were away knowing Bruce was getting lots of love and attention. The house was left perfect, clean and tidy.
