We are a couple (31) who grew up on the Mornington Peninsula, and recently sold our house in Foostscray. We sold our house in 2021, and discovered house sitting soon after - we are really enjoying getting to explore different locations across Victoria. We have been house sitting over the past 12 months (the last 9 months on this site).
We really enjoy getting to spend time with animals again having lost our 11 year old beloved cat to a heart condition 2 years ago. We love dogs, and enjoy how they help keep us fit with walks and play time. We are at home a lot, as one of us works from home 3-4 days a week and the other has a very flexible job, with lots of afternoon and weekend work. We are a reliable young couple who enjoy spending time at home.
Entrusting your much loved pet and home to virtual strangers is very much an act of faith. As it turned out our faith could not have been better placed. Jamie and Rachel were simply wonderful - friendly, communicative, reliable, I could go on and on. We returned to a happy, healthy dog and spotless house. We wouldn't hesitate to ask them to sit for us in the future - and nor should you!

Jamie & Rachel are the most wonderful pet and house sitters. Our boisterous Rhodesian Ridgeback settled immediately with them, and was so happy and well-cared for. And when we returned, not only was the house spotless, but Jamie & Rachel had left us fresh milk, bread and eggs. Their communications were also excellent, both before and during the housesit. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
Jamie and Rachel were very friendly and warm. They had great communication and were very understanding when my husband fell ill and we had to come back after 2 days. Our pets loved them and they took great care of them and the house. I hope they are available again in the future. Thank you!
Jamie and Rachel were perfect housesitters. Good communication to organise the sit, flexible as needed. We met them prior to the sit and felt instantly comfortable with them in our home. They were attentive to the needs of our pets and left the house in excellent condition. We'd be happy to have them again and recommend them highly.

Jamie and Rachel are experienced house sitters who were a perfect fit for our home, two dogs and chooks. They made an instant connection with our dogs and we were able to go on holiday confident that our home and pets were in safe hands. They maintained communication while we were away and we returned to find the house immaculate and the dogs relaxed and happy. I hope that they will be available next time we go away.

Jamie and Rachel house sat our 3 cats for over 3 weeks. We were really happy to return to find the cats all very happy and the house nice and clean (probably cleaner than I left it!). They were really accommodating with my requests for the cats various quirks and were really quick and easy to communicate with. Jamie and Rachel were wonderful house sitters. They were friendly, approachable and great communicators. They cared for our dogs, cat, chooks and fish for 6 weeks and we were in no doubt that they cared and loved our pets as much as we do. We got weekly photo updates of our pets which was reassuring as we missed them so much. Our home was left clean and tidy. They were both great house sitters which we'd highly recommend.
Rachel and Jamie were excellent house sitters. They took wonderful care of our dog, who even looks slightly slimmer after all the walks they took him on! They also looked after our chooks, garden and indoor plants beautifully. The house was spotless and they left some snacks in the fridge for our return. We're fabulous! Lola loved them and on my return spent a few days looking for them and sneaking on their bed!
The house was spotless on my return and milk, bread and eggs left in the refrigerator for me which was greatly appreciated.
There communication was very good, keeping me in touch with Lola's progress.
They are a lovely couple and I recommend them highly. Lola recommends them as well and enjoyed walks and hanging out with them.
Jamie and Rachel were wonderful house and cat sitters. They communicated often, met at my house prior to the housesit, which I really appreciated, and this meant I could see how great they were with my 14year old and 1 year old cats. They were very responsible, respectful, and sent me pictures to show how comfortable my two cats were with them. Thank you Jamie and Rachel for taking such wonderful, wonderful care of our (elderly) cat Isis and our home. It was a great relief to find two people who clearly love cats, and it speaks volumes that Isis warmed up to you both in no time.
