25, Professional Photographer, creative director and experienced house-sitter
If you have found me via the search page or one of my messages and would love to get to know me, hello and welcome! I’m a British and French dual citizen living, working and having the time of my life in Australia. I have called this beautiful country home for just shy of five years and I split my time between Melbourne and Sydney. Work dictates where I travel and live for the most part but I have a lot of flexibility in my lifestyle which allows me to house-sit and look after your furry loved ones.
For work, I’m a professional photographer mostly working in fashion, portraiture and events (music and entertainment). It’s a thrilling career path that has taken me almost everywhere in the last 8 years and led to meeting some incredible people leaving me with a few cool stories to tell. However, this wasn’t what brought me to Australia! Between 2019 and 2020, I spent a year living in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory contracted to a cricket club.
I spent most of the dreaded black summer in the red centre playing semi-professional cricket before *gulp* Covid-19 hit. This prolonged my stay in Australia and I ended up moving to Sydney in September of 2020 - just in time for Covid-19 round two.
If I were to summarise myself, I would say I’m a little chaotic (in the best way only), adventurous, creative and free-spirited. I am guilty of spending obscene amounts of time working on my business and photography, but I also love being outdoors exploring nature, cafes, wine bars, restaurants, live music, and I occasionally pretend to stick to a gym routine. I often cook at home, I grew up with a chef sommelier as my dad, and my mother, being French instilled the importance of good food and wine from a young age.
Given what I do for work, I can’t own a pet. However, I grew up with dogs and cats around me all the time and I very much love having animals always present in my life. That’s where house sitting comes into my life and how I can help you!
I have been house-sitting for around 5 years now, primarily all in Australia and a portion of them through Aussie House Sitters. I have sat for 40 incredible pet families and a few large empty homes in that time. I have had the pleasure of looking after a lot of cats, in particular, Ragdolls, British short-haired cats and rambunctious tuxedo cats! However, I have also looked after just about every kind of pet one could own from dogs to birds and bunnies to small marsupials.
When looking after a house, I always treat it with as much care and love as I do my own. I’m a very tidy person, very organised and I obsessively clean everything after myself! I'm very easy to communicate with as I'm always at the end of the phone, and I can also be contacted via WhatsApp/Signal or iMessage if you’re overseas. I'm very accommodating of various needs, and I always do my best to make leaving your pets with a new person as seamless and stress-free as possible. Being a photographer by day, I also send the best photo updates of your pets while you're away!
I encourage a meet-up before handing over your furry loved ones to me to ensure we’re the perfect fit. If I’m not in the same state before your dates, I’ll endeavour to arrive early (or the day before) so you still have the opportunity to meet me.
If you’re interested in having me look after your house and pets and would love to learn more about my experience or would like to get to know me better before entrusting me with your pets, I would love to hear from you!
