Hello.

I look forward to house sitting for you and if you have animals (and/or a garden) caring for them as well. I have been around animals since a child having lived on a farm until I was seven.

I began house sitting in Sydney in 2015 after being asked to mind my friends kelpies on a regular basis. Due to renting, I was unable to have animals and was glad to help as I love animals. In February 2016, I began minding one home (large garden) every other week, when the owners went to their farm.
In 2018 I moved to Melbourne and resumed house sitting (mainly for colleagues). I've bought and sold a house and have been teaching in FNQ. It's time for some 'me time', so I have headed west and have based myself in WA for the year.

I've been working as a school counsellor/teacher for over 20 years and have a Working with Children Check and a National Police Check. I am a clean, honest and reliable person; I'm a non smoker and drink rarely.

I have house sat all types of homes; large homes and small ones. I've sat large dogs and tiny ones and many cats of various breeds. And one solo bird! I love animals, so pet setting meets that need well. As for gardens - I love them.

Having worked with Sharon for a number of years I have come to know of her interest in and love of dogs. She would often visit and spend time with our very energetic and demanding kelpies. So impressed was I by her genuine interest and care for our dogs that I asked Sharon to house-sit while we were away for 10 days in June / July. We left for holidays confident in the knowledge that our dogs would be well fed, walked, entertained, cared for and loved. We were also confident that our house would be looked after - Sharon is most trustworthy and honest. We came home to find two very happy and contented dogs and a house that was treated as a home. Highly recommend Sharon she loved and cared for our fur babies and kept us updated the whole time. Sharon even weeded our whole front garden. She will not disappoint anyone and very reliable.

Sharon was the perfect sitter for our home and dog. Constantly communicated with us from the very start right up until the end of our trip even when we needed to change dates. The house was left in impeccable condition and Darcy enjoyed his time being spoilt by her. Would highly recommend Sharon for any house-sitting positions and would welcome her back anytime. Thank you so much for a lovely review Avril. I enjoy looking back over the video I took when I arrived ( which I sent to you), as I can see the joy on their faces. And the dances! No other dogs do that!!! Makes you just want to walk and to the foot path just to return for a dance!
Sharon took care of two dogs, two cats and one garden - all large sized, for over two weeks and no-one could have done a better job. She took care of my pets and my home like they were her own. The animals loved her from the start and she sent us messages and videos to let us know they were happy and well. Sharon is an absolute treasure. She is friendly, honest and kind and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter.

Sharon is excellent. We would recommend her highly. With 2 days notice Sharon replied to our ad and came to meet Eva and ourselves. She was very friendly and caring towards Eva. Sharon asked if we would like updates whilst away or if we would prefer not to be disturbed. We love updates so we said yes please. Highly recommend Sharon to house/pet sit. She sent photo's of the pooches and didn't hesitate to ask questions if I had missed out any information. The house and linen was all clean on our arrival home.

Sharon was the all round package of a house sitter. Her communication skills were fantastic, she sent updates throughout her sit making me content in her ability to care for my Hungarian Vizsla dog. Sharon made it her business to find out his likes and dislikes which made the sit very smooth for all concerned. I arrived home to a very clean and tidy home and one very happy dog. I would definitely recommend Sharon as a house sitter.

Sharon house and chook-sat for us for 3 weeks over the 2020 Christmas holidays.
