We are a fit retired couple who have finished a year travelling Australia. We are back in our beautiful home state of Tasmania We both have current National Police Certificates and Katrina has Working with vulnerable children card.
We have always had dogs, big and small, and cats as pets. We have also dog sat in our own suburban home and looked after our fur guests with lots of love and care. (Let me tell you about the 18yo deaf maltese tx that hated everyone but came to love us.
And the mother chihuahua and 4 two week old pups, that we were caring for. She was displaying very subtle symptoms that we thought weren't quite right and were able to get her to the vet in time!
We are very clean and tidy and very respectful of people's homes. Your home, your rules - of course!

Katrina and Phil were awesome house sitters. They took fantastic care of Big Ted the dog, who was clearly very happy in their care. They returned house in great condition - even better than how we left it for them, and were great communicators throughout the process.
Phillip and Katrina came to look after our house and pets for a week in July. We had great communication before and throughout and they came to meet us (all) before the sit. We were kept up to date with welfare updates and came back to washed sheets and cut grass! Great sitters, friendly, communicative and helpful. Thank you both 🙏
Phil and Katrina are lovely, easy going, friendly, kind and caring people. They have competently and lovingly looked after our elderly dog and young cat during our 10 night holiday. They maintained excellent communication both before and during our time away. We loved receiving photos and updates of Bonnie and the different adventures that she was taken on as Phil and Katrina explored our surrounding area, along with photographic evidence of Bonnie and Milo our cat snuggling up with them.

Philip and Katrina were amazing, I think the dogs are missing them! We felt so comfortable leaving them with both our dogs and our house. They were lovely to have and I’d very much recommend them. It was so lovely to come back from holiday to a lovely clean and tidy house and they had even been thoughtful enough to have got us an evening meal in the fridge on our return. Sadly, due to circumstances beyond our control, Phil and Katrina had only house sitting duties.
They showed great consideration the evening before we left by booking a hotel as Phil was feeling poorly 🤒 and erred on the side of caution. We all met up the morning of our departure and hopefully made them feel at home. Simple instructions were left and throughout our holiday we all kept in regular contact. Highly recommend Katrina & Phil for house sitting. It was easy to communicate with them both, before and during my time away. I came home to very happy pets. Charlie was walked several times a day & shared lots of cuddles. My house was left in a spotless condition with bedding washed. It was a pleasure to meet these lovely people. 🐶🐈⬛
Katrina and Phil were the perfect house sitters! We returned to the house in a better condition than we left it with all animals and plants well cared for. Their communication was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the future
Katrina and Phil are lovely people and good housesitters. They were comfortable with the uncertain nature of our dates and accommodating and easy to get along with. They were good with all the pets and their idioacyncratic ways and very good with Basil who can be tricky but Katrina particularly won him over and he allowed a few pats! Thanks for slotting in to our housesit!

I loved having Katrina and Phil staying for the house sit! I came home to happy animals and a spotless home. They were amazing on flexibility and time and organisation. Could not recommend them enough. If they want to come back to Herberton they will be welcomed in my home anytime.
Katrina and Phil are exceptional house sitters, Thank you for looking after our dog and the property at such short notice. Roxy enjoyed your stay, and what a treat you gave her taking her to the beach and on walks, She barked through the window as you left. The house was left in better order than we left it in a rush. I am very happy the garden was watered as things dry out here very quickly. We wish you well on your travels and welcome you to stay if you are passing through.
