I've been housesitting on and off since 2013, mostly in Mackay, so that I can be present in the lives of my grandchildren. I love dogs and have one of my own, a 2.5 kg Yorkie who always travels with me.

A homeowner for over forty years, I'm respectful of your space and your possessions and will always leave everything exactly as I found it. All the homeowners I've worked with say I'm reliable and capable, and take great care of their furry friend/friends, home, and garden.

Kay looked after my toy poodle and house while I was away on holidays for 2 weeks. Kay is a great communicator and even though I was in an isolated area she sent me regular updates and pictures of my pet to keep me in the loop. She also made me aware of a weather alert and took action by making preparations for the event, which fortunately did not occur. I came home to a very happy dog and a spotless house. Kay and Col looked after our house, yard and special pet while we were away for 5weeks. When we came home We could tell that Pedro had been looked after extremely well. Our home was spotlessly clean and the yard was very well looked after. We would recommend Kay and Col to anybody.

No rating Kay is the ideal house sitter. She's a delightful person and lights up the room. She looked after my house meticulously and there wasn't one item out of place when I got home. It was as clean as a whistle. She had the challenge of dealing with Cyclone Debbie during her stay which involved moving plants and outdoor furniture to secure areas, power failures and outages during a very scary time.
