Nigel and Karen were great on communication. They arrived when they said they would and made sure our 4 and 2 legged pets were alive and well when we arrived home. :)

Hello, I am a West Australian that has been residing in NZ for a few years now but I travel frequently back to Perth. I house sit for friends and family in WA as well as doing sits through this website. In NZ my partner and I are Gold members of the Kiwi House Sitters organisation. We/I have received excellent reviews for our home and pet care. I am a 'retired' horse woman and I can take care of feeding your ponies. I love dogs and I can provide expert attention for your pooches. Looking after poultry, aviary birds and cats is not a problem and taking care of house plants is always a pleasure. I am a house proud, clean and tidy person as well as a non smoker. I can provide you my Police Clearance certificate if required. Look forward to hearing from you!

Karen was absolutely lovely (didn't meet Nigel until we got home). She did an amazing job of looking after our fur kids Paige and Zoey and was patient when Zoey had a few challenging moments.
The house was well maintained, very neat, clean and tidy.
We got regular updates and photos.
It was so wonderful to know that our fur kids were in excellent hands and I know our fur kids took to them very well.
It was sad to see them leave.
We were very apprehensive about leaving our house and beloved pet with someone we din’t know as this was our first time using house sitters but Karen was great with our dog Teddy and took him for regular walks and shared pictures and videos of them having fun. She was also very particular about cleaning the house and left it spotless. Would recommend her to others as well.
Karen was a fabulous find for our house sit. Our 6yo Dalmatian can be high strung and prone to anxiety, so keeping his routine as normal as possible was essential and Karen was certainly able to achieve that. Our home was kept neat and tidy, and pool was well maintained. I would have no hesitation recommending Karen to family, friends and others looking for a capable, committed and adaptable sitter for their home.
We recently had Karen housesit for us for just over two weeks while we attended a very stressful family emergency overseas. We found her polite, chatty, honest and forthright. She seemed to engage with our three indoor cockatiels, one of whom can be quite a handful. She looked after our three chickens and the the pen was noted to be cleaned and in good condition.
