We are a friendly, kind-hearted family who loves animals! My son, dog, and I are experienced long-term pet/house-sitters passionate about helping others. After a travel break during Covid, we bought a hobby farm, which has kept us busy, though we're currently in outback WA! Yes, I am a Gypsy at heart!

We’re fond of all the animals we care for and have experience with a wide variety, including young, elderly, and medically needy animals. We've bottle-fed orphaned lambs, hand-fed an alpaca, and manage our own farm animals. Farm stays are our favourite, and we enjoy daily exercise, so no problem taking dogs out regularly.

We fully commit to house-sitting and stay on the property. We do not plan overnights away. I do work from home during the day. We maintain your pet’s routines, ensuring they feel loved and secure. Our Kelpie is friendly, quiet, and great with people, pets, and kids, though he’s also very active.

We live a clean, active, natural, and responsible lifestyle—no smoking, drinking, or drugs. I'm handy around the house and can manage property tasks or learn new ones as needed. For long-term sits, I am happy to contribute to expenses like electricity, water, gas, and WIFI.

No rating Shirley-Ann looked after our small farm of 2 acres for 2 months. I cannot thank her enough for the great care she took of all our animals especially the chickens. And there are about 30 of them. We also had 7 goslings hatch 2 days into her sit which are very happy and healthy. The horses too were well cared for. It was a pleasure having Shirley & Mat look after our house and animals they took Teddy out with them for adventures and treated him as their own. Also left the house neat and tidy with a new set of bedding, which was lovely after an early morning flight I went straight to bed for a nap!

Shirley Ann and her son looked after our 3 labradors and our 3 cats. We were very pleased with the sit and the change over to another sitter was smooth. Great communication and the pictures of my family I left her with were awesome. A great sitter we would recommend to look after those special fur babies. Plants water, dogs walked and cat's spoilt.

Shirley-ann was an excellent sitter who looked after the house well, having it clean and tidy for our return. She took great care of our dog, Jem, and with Matthias (her son), gave Jem lots of excercise and kept her stimulated with interesting outings. Shirley-ann communicated well and regularly, and highlighted things that she thought may be an issue. I would recommend her very highly to others and hope she is available next time we need a sitter.
