Hi,
I'm Libby and I've been housesitting cats and dogs for friends on and off for at least 20 years and even housesat overseas so I could have company, a homey, environment but still explore the country whilst working.
I’m an introvert, I love my time alone and I love cuddles so housesitting is perfect. I'm quiet, respectful and love doing my art stuff, playing video games, board games and stand up paddle boarding in my spare time.
I work locally near Caloundra (only about 7 shifts a fortnight) on the Sunshine Coast casually and so i need housesitters who are understanding that I still will be leaving throughout the day for work but will feed their pets in the morning and come home for snuggles with pets in the evening. I'll send you photo updates every now and then as I know you are missing your loved one.
Heads up, Im a bit of a grandma so I'm an early riser but tend to stay in at night so plenty of love for your pets whilst you are gone.
Generally, I prefer longer housesits of 1 plus weeks but still enquire just in case I’m free.

Very good communication while we were away, sent photos of the cats and was quick to answer my texts. Cats were very chilled and relaxed when we got home, obviously well cared for and given plenty of attention. House was clean and tidy on our return - we would recommend Libby as a sitter, thoughtful and respectful and good knowledge of animals.
Libby, provided good care of my two dogs, one with several medications that needed to be dispensed daily. Libby was diligent to get the meds right and communicated with me to ensure she had things correct. Libby sent messages and pics of thier walks and updates. The house was tidy on my return.
It was our first time using Aussie House Sitters and are very happy to have had Libby stay and look after our home and our elderly dog, Miley. Libby took the time to build a good rapport with Miley and it was obvious Miley was in very capable and caring hands while we were away. Miley’s every need was taken care of lovingly - feeding, daily medicines, exercise, personal interaction and affection.
We returned to a spotless house, thriving garden, pool in good order and a healthy, happy Miley.

Libby was such a joy to have around!!, Very helpful to my wife and I as we are very new at using Aussie house sitters, Very caring to the needs of our two older dogs. I am so happy I have found Libby. My cat is too...she loved her! It was wonderful to have a holiday knowing with complete certainty that Mishka was being well cared for. I came home to a happy cat and a spotless house. I only hope Libby doesn't get too busy as I would love to have her house sit when I go away again.
Libby did a wonderful job looking after our home, pot plants and cat. She left the house clean and tidy and was easy to communicate with. She sent photo updates of our cat who seemed to love her. We would definitely use Libby again when we go away and recommend her to anyone.

This was our first time using Aussie House Sitters. We had trepidations with having someone new in our home but Libby came to our house for our first meeting with our furbabies and immediately we felt at ease and our furbabies did to. Libby was a wonderful pet sitter, sending pictures whilst we were away.
Libby was a very kind sitter who obviously cares greatly for animals.
Everything was left as we left it, as well as a note for us when we arrived home.
Libby was a great house sitter. Looked after our dog great. Very easy to deal with and great communication. Sent us some photos of our dog while we were away and the house was super clean when we got back. With everything washed.
Would highly recommend her and would look at using her again in the future.
