Greetings! I am an experienced house sitter with a love of animals especially dogs and cats. Over the past 30 years I've taken care of many homes and the dogs and cats that reside there.
I lost my beloved German Shepherd Sheba 30/10/21, my soul dog, who passed a month before her 15th birthday. She had survived 2 vestibular episodes which I nursed her through and the last 3 years she suffered from Degenerative Myelopathy. I know no other dog can replace my dog so I have decided to become a full time DOG /CAT AUNTY. I can get my dog/ cat fix helping someone out so they can have a lovely break and not worry about leaving their family member behind.
Having a super reactive dog meant that owning cats was out of the question but cats love me. I had an amazing cat growing up and have taken care of cats my entire life. My husband is also allergic to cats so unfortunately a cat in our household will never be.
A little about me. I am an English/ History teacher working full-time in a school. I have been teaching high school now for 35 years and really enjoy it. Prior to Covid I was travelling quite a bit overseas and around Australia. At the moment I am staying put but happy to change my scenery.
I am responsible, clean and tidy and will leave your house looking the same or better than when you left it. I am a homeowner myself, I'll take good care of your house. I enjoy gardening and have my own garden so watering plants inside and out is no problem. I have a Working with Children check which involves a police check and I am a non smoker. I have my own car so transport is not an issue if you aren't near public transport.
I will be happy to answer any questions and also arrange a time to meet up in person, or talk via Zoom. At this first meeting, you can introduce me to your pets, take me through their routine and needs and we can also discuss the care of your home and garden.
For your peace of mind I will keep in regular contact while you are away and send through photos and updates on your house, pets and garden.
I have excellent references and repeat homeowners who have been extremely happy with my communication, commitment to their pets and care of their home and gardens, both indoor and outdoor.
This is the fourth time Lisa has house-sat for us, and we feel so lucky to have found her. Our two puppies love her as much as they love us. We know she looks after them so well, sends us regular photos and our house is always spotless when we return. We love Lisa!
We LOVE (and our dogs love) Lisa, she's the number one person we call when we go away! I actually suspect our dogs Herbie and Obi - might secretly look forward to us going away so that they can have a holiday with Lisa.

I honestly cannot speak more highly of Lisa! She was extremely proactive in terms of preparing for her stay, even making time to pop in beforehand to meet the dogs and let me show her around. Lisa sent through gorgeous photos and updates of the dogs each day we were away, and her messages were so kind and understanding. And then the house was spotless when we returned! The perfect dog/house sitter! I highly recommend her!

It was our first time being away from Dougee for more than a couple of days and we are so grateful to Ljubica for looking after our fluffy guy! She took amazing care of our place as well as our floof, and we just can’t thank her enough for making our furry guy feel so loved and cared for (so that he didn’t even care that we were gone). Lisa and Paul were fantastic house sitters and we couldn't recommend them more highly.
We received regular photographic updates on our puppies, and Lisa and Paul even really enjoyed our dogs quirky personalities. The dogs had daily walks on the beach, and Lisa and Paul really enjoyed our house and left the house spotless.
