House sitting full-time from 2011 to 2023, during this time I cared for a vast array of companion animals - furry, fluffy, feathered and some with scales. Now settled on Sydney's Northern Beaches, I sit for a change of scenery and some pet therapy.
I have written references and online reviews from past home owners whose homes, pets, (plants, pools, gardens, yards) I cared for in their absence.
A genuine animal lover, I give your pets the attention & TLC to which they are accustomed & deserve. I understand the need to maintain their familiar routine of feeding, walking, play time, grooming, and special one-on-one time. ;)
Past "sits" include rustic residences, country cottages, beach side properties, suburban homes & inner city apartments. Also a few farms where I cared for domesticated pets & kept water troughs filled for farm animals.
A non-smoker, social drinker, responsible, house proud, security conscious, quiet living, fit & active with no human kids, I lavish affection on your fur family.
NB: From March 2011 to Dec 2019 I 'sat' as a couple with Andrew, my partner of 30 years, Andrew passed away in Feb 2020, so these days I 'sit' as a single. I mention this because some of the house sitting jobs we did together have involved more responsibilities than I would take on as a single house & pet sitter e.g. mowing lawns.

Robyn is a highly professional housesitter, going out of her way to ensure she fully understood the needs of our pets and our home. A great communicator who filled us with confidence whilst we were away and on our return our home was well looked after and pets clearly cared for. I can't recommend Robyn enough! Robyn was a great sitter for us. She certainly cared for our cavoodle Sami very well and took him for little adventures encouraging him to overcome some of his fears such as going into the water at the beach and walking along board walks, something we have been working on for quite some time. She clearly showed him lots of love and he certainly missed Robyn for a few days after she left. Robyn is a very professional and experienced Housesitter. The moment I saw her interact with my pets (especially the parrot) I knew she was perfect. Robyn is a lovely lady. The two border collies thought she was wonderful. They got on really well.
Our two cats are very wary of strangers and as Robyn was only here for a short time they did not engage a lot with her. However, they were well fed and in good condition when we arrived home. So no problems there. We have three chickens and they were also looked after well. Gardening was not a requirement of Robyn's sit but she did keep our pot plants on the verandah watered. We were very lucky to get Robyn for our house sit at such short notice. With a few adjustments it worked in our favour.
Robyn is obviously experienced as she communicated extremely well from the beginning to the end.
We had a few house hold issues happen but everything was resolved without any fuss.
We would recommend Robyn and certainly ask again when we require another house sit.
Robyn was a fantastic sitter. Great communication right from the very start to the finish. She was very thorough in understanding my needs and those of the pets and how things worked. She sent us 2-3 updates daily, sending photos of our dogs and showing how very happy they were. We were very happy with Robyn and Andrew as house-sitters. They looked after our cat, fish, house and garden in an exemplary fashion and were very professional in their approach. Robyn sent regular photos and updates, left the house in a neat and tidy condition and kindly left some provisions in the fridge for our return. I was also very happy to receive her 'Welcome Home debrief' describing how our cat had adapted to the new situation.
Robyn took great care of my girls. They are prone to anxiety and take days to get over an experience which has rattled them. I came home to find two perfectly happy girls and they seemed completely indifferent to the fact I'd been away! Robyn was fantastic!

We were so lucky to have Robyn and Andrew look after our dog, Ralphie (four year old borderdoodle), and our home whist we were in Europe for two and a half weeks. They did a wonderful job looking after our home and pool, and we arrived home to find everything beautifully clean and organised. Robyn and Andrew are a lovely couple, Louis our dog loves them and I think they and they spoil him more than we do. They have stayed in our home for extended periods and have looked after every thing perfectly.
We travel often and are disappointed if our dates are not compatible. We wish them well and look forward to having them in our home again in the future to allow us to travel, worry free!
Robyn and Andrew were wonderful, they looked after our home and 2 cats as they would have their own. They even purchased food to return home to and fresh flowers on the kitchen bench. They kept us informed of any updates and happenings while we were away and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any future home owners.
Robyn and Andrew have been our house sitters twice now and we have been impressed with the way they have cared for our pets (1 dog and 2 cats) and left the house very clean and tidy. Robyn has always gone "the extra mile" in helping me when my arm was in plaster with bringing in washing, etc. We would have no hesitation in asking them to sit for us when we next take a holiday and would recommend them to any other prospective sitters.
This was our first experience of home sitters & feel we were very lucky to have found Andrew & Robyn. They initially helped us put together a house sitting framework e.g. deposits, house rules etc & then they looked after & cared for our house, garden, lawn, pool, cars & more importantly our pets from April to August. They are honest, reliable & trustworthy and we would have no hesitation in asking them to look after our property again in the future.
