Phil & I are a clean, tidy, non-smoking professional IT couple who mainly work from home and are very lucky with flexible work agreements.

We are interested in short housesits a close drive from Sydney so we can explore what is on our doorstep while having the added joy of having pets around. We are housesitting for pats and cuddles as we recently lost our beloved 13 year old greyhound and would like to head overseas at some point before settling down again with a new rescue.

We are huge animal and nature lovers, we especially love dogs - the bigger, the better. We enjoyed doing basic obedience training with our dogs. We both love twice daily dog walks and getting out and about.

Kathy also has a lot of experience handling and caring for horses, having owned and worked with them for over 15 years during her teens and 20s. We also have had chickens in the past so are more than happy to care for your flock.

We have used Aussie House Sitters to have sitters come and look after our dogs and home, so we have a great understanding of how important communication and trust is when letting someone look after your pet and your home.

Kathy and Phil were fantastic sitters for our two greyhounds and cat. They cared for our girls as if they were their own. Their communication was excellent and they were friendly and kept us well updated. They also left the house absolutely spotless. It was a pleasure to host them and lovely to go away and not have to worry about anything back home. We would recommend them to anyone and would gladly welcome them back.

Kathy and Phil were absolutely amazing, I highly recommend them, this was my first time using this site so was a little nervous but they made the process so easy and made me feel like Cleveland was in such good hands. They always kept in touch, and were very responsive. I came home to a spotless house, and a very happy dog.

Kathy & Phil were absolutely fantastic & I would happily have them live in my house, and look after my dogs again! Our dogs were so happy during their stay, and when we got home, and our house was left to a perfect standard for us when we arrived home, cleaner than we’ve ever had it! Their communication was great with regular updates & prompt replies. I can easily say they are the best sitters we have ever had!

Kathy and Phil were amazing house sitters and took such attentive care of our dog Lulu! They were great communicators from day one and it was obvious how much Lulu adored having them look after her. We could tell when we came back that she had been kept in her routine and well looked after, and our house was spotless which was so lovely to come home to! We wouldn’t hesitate to have them back or recommend them.
