Hi, my name is Cheryl & I joined aussiehousesitters because I love animals. I have always had my own animals & at the moment circumstances aren’t right for me to have my own. I am quite a homebody & love spending time time at home in the company of animals. I imagine it must be hard to trust someone to care for your pets so I am happy to meet or provide references.
My career has been in the health & wellness industry & most recently I have worked as a disability support worker. I have a masters in counselling & psychotherapy and this year I am doing some social work studies. I love nature, animals, walking, yoga, meditation, hiking & kayaking & hanging out with loved ones 2 & 4 legged.
I have a current police & working with children check.

Cheryl was the BEST housesitter!!!! From excellent communication before, during and after the sit to looking after our animals like her own, we highly recommend Cheryl and would welcome her back anytime. Our Labrador, Ruby, was so well cared for and loved. She had 3 walks a day, trips to town and to the market! Cheryl also looked after our chicken and cows with devotion. Cheryl took good care of Loki and she is pretty knowledgeable about dogs. She took the time to visit him beforehand. She was flexible with the time of meeting and departure. She stayed for 2 nights and the house was left in good conditions. We would have her again.

Cheryl was fabulous! We had plenty of updates while we were away & she even bought Olly our dog more treats when he ran out. Our apartment was clean (even the linen) when we got back. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. She even stayed another night when our flight was cancelled. Would have again in a second! Thank you

I would highly recommend Cheryl as a house sitter. Communication was top notch, my dog was well cared for and my house was left clean and tidy. Cheryl even accommodated my revised flight schedule and stayed an extra night. Thanks so much for everything!!
