68, Retired teacher librarian
I am a retired primary school teacher-librarian and am looking for new experiences within Australia. As I like to travel, I don't have pets of my own, but have several dogs I 'borrow' to walk; in the past we had Labradors as family pets. I live in Tasmania so Mainland sits need a little more time and organisation.
I own my own home, have a large garden and grow much of my own fruit and vegetables; I enjoy cooking and sharing food with friends.
I am a non-smoker and exercise is important to me - I do yoga, walk, swim and cycle regularly. (Walks are always better with a dog!)
I really enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places so I see house-sitting as an excellent way to do this.
At the moment I have casual work at the nearby lavender farm which drops off over the quieter winter months and which I can usually work around. At the moment I am committed to work from December 3 through to January 31. My preference is for shorter sits, up to a fortnight.
Looking forward to meeting new people, new pets and exploring new places.
