Both of us have been raised on farms, Des on a dairy farm and myself on just a farm, so we have a pretty good understanding of most critters of all shapes and sizes.

Then off to Geelong'ish 21/10/2024-> 2/11/2024, to make some new friends with a couple of puppies..
When are we available:

Boarding the Big Barge in Geelong on the 7th of November and will be in Tassie until the 8th of February. We will be available for any requirements in Tasmania between this dates.
When are we available:
Mainland Australia.... 8/02/2025 -> 15/03/2025
On the 8th of February we arrive back Geelong and will be good for anything between Geelong and Beaudesert (Gold Coast Hinterland) We just have to be back home on the 15th of March.
We understand the importance of having your home looked after, and that is and is always our first priority in every aspect, from dishes to doormats, and shoes left outside on those doormats.
Our previous home of 35 years had a heated pool that has left me with really good understanding of the chemistry that goes into a crystal clear pool and in 34 years never had a green pool, summer or winter, the first year was a steep learning curve though :)
Both of us have been raised on farms, Des on a dairy farm and myself on just a farm, so we have a pretty good understanding of critters of all shapes and sizes.
Having been owners of our own pets, and looking after other folks pets we know how crucial it is for them to feel safe and secure, which is not just all about feeding and playing with them but talking to them also in a meaningful way.
From our experience, we know that your pet can fret when you are away from them, your pets will need individual attention and we will make sure to care for every pet we look after when they are feeling anxious. From regular feedings and long walks to affectionate cuddles when needed and if required and engaging playtime, we strive to ensure that your pets are in good hands and feel right at home in your home without you.
Yes we are Non smokers.
I can Macgyver just about anything with toothpick and duct tape, and am very mechanically minded having a lifetime of varied experiences.
We are traveling in a 9mtr motorhome “Bertha” and do have our own vehicle in tow “Jane”, we can live in our motorhome or in your home if that is required for your pets comfort and security, either way we would need space for Bertha, Jane will fit anywhere.
We would prefer to arrive in a nearby caravan park maybe a day or two early, to meet and greet your pets and get to know their routine, and any instructions that are unique to your home.
Full disclosure here, we have only done housesitting for friends in the past, and have had a house sitter and are trying to expand on the experience so we are new to it, but the way I see it, we need to treat your house and pets like ours, if not better, that will be hard because we are both have a eye for attention to detail when it comes to being clean and tidy and the care of critters of all shapes and sizes.
Please feel free to contact us for any information you may need. Malcolm and Desley
