Hello! My name is Marie and I work at the University of Technology Sydney. I was previously working at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Sydney.

I studied at the Australian National University in Canberra and most recently lived on the Sunshine Coast for some beach and sun :)

I spent the majority of my childhood living abroad, mainly in China (7 years) and Vietnam (2 years). I speak Mandarin and love to travel and learn about different cultures.

I'm hoping to housesit so I can experience more parts of Australia and spend more time with animals (especially since I can't own a pet as I'm renting at the moment).

I have been a housesitter for friends and family, and done a few housesits around my area in Sydney. I have lived in sharehouses over the last 7 years - I am friendly, clean, considerate, and respectful.

I love animals, and very happy to take care of plants and other maintenance responsibilities. I understand the importance of communication with homeowners/hosts, especially for long-term housesits.

In my spare time I enjoy being active - lifting weights, yoga, swimming and hiking in particular. I'm quite the homebody and enjoy cooking, painting and reading.

I can provide police checks and references if needed.

I work from the office in Ultimo and remotely a few days a week. If I sound like a good fit, please reach out and say hi :)
