We are two professional women from Canada who travel for extended work assignments. We are usually in Australia 3-5 months every year.

One of us is a university professor (science) and the other is a retired teacher. We regularly do housesits solo, as we are often in different places. We are able to give your pets lots of love and attention as we can often work from home. We also enjoy gardening, so will take good care of your plants and grounds. We can handle most maintenance problems if they arise, and can guarantee that you will come home to a clean house and happy pets that have been lovingly cared for (and in the case of dogs, well-exercised because we are both keen walkers/hikers.

As people who own homes ourselves, we understand how to keep a property in excellent condition. We have owned both urban and rural properties, so we are comfortable in just about any setting.

We are both energetic, outdoor-loving people, non-smokers and non-drinkers who enjoy experiencing new places and exploring locally. We are conscientious, clean, true animal lovers who have received only the highest ratings from every homeowner whose property we've cared for (5 stars out of 5), so please just ask for a long list of references, in addition to the many verified references here on this site from former confirmed sits.

Karen is often in Adelaide during the summer, and Alyssa may be in Perth, but we are always keen to experience other parts of beautiful Australia - we look forward to hearing from you if we can be of assistance!

Karen and Ally were fantastic house/pet sitters. From the first time we made contact until the day we said goodbye after the sit they were friendly, communicative and a wonderful couple. Our pets were loved and cared for as well as we could only have hoped for. The house was spotless and there was even a hot home cooked dinner when we arrived home after a long haul international flight. What more could you ask for?
