Hello! I'm Matías, an animal lover who has had the chance to live in New Zealand for 1 year and 8 months. During this time, I had the opportunity to work, explore this beautiful country, and share experiences with childhood friends.

My experience with animals began when I volunteered through the Helpx platform. In Christchurch, I spent two months helping a family, where I took care of household tasks and their adorable dog, "Jaffa." I also helped a lady in Bendigo, a small settlement near Cromwell. Months later, I reconnected with the same person, now at her house on the North Island, where I helped her with household chores and took care of her dogs Megatron, Magic, and Munta, as well as her cat Persimmon, when she was not home.

Now, I’m in Sydney, where I’ve started a new chapter with a full-time job. My time in New Zealand allowed me to develop a great sense of responsibility and affection for animals, and I always strive to provide them with the best care and attention.
