I'm an Australian single housesitter, recently relocated to Melbourne from Adelaide.

I currently work as an arts event manager and online project coordinator. I work flexibly from office or home, and enjoy getting to know different neighbourhoods, so housesitting suits well for me.

I'm a reliable, tidy and trustworthy sitter, and typically care for cats. I have 25+ all positive reviews across three different housesitting platforms - having been a housesitter during travels in USA (2018-19), New Zealand (2019-20) and Australia (2020 & 2024).

I also have 30+ great reviews on Airbnb as host and guest, so I understand both sides of caring for homes well.

* I'm great with first-time hosts! I'm happy to provide daily pet updates, pics and any helpful advice so you have a stress-free housesitting experience.

* I'll leave your home looking as good as you left it (or even cleaner)!

* I'm environmentally aware and energy conscious, so no need to worry about large power or water bills from me. I do not have a car, but am very comfortable taking public transport and Uber/Didi rideshare.

* I'm a non-smoker and do not have visitors during housesits.

My interests include salsa dancing, seeing theatre, attending arts festivals, and pinball. I have travelled to over 40 countries across North America, Europe and Asia.

"When I first met Michelle, I liked her straight away, and knew she was going to do a wonderful job of looking after our cat. She paid careful attention to all the details, and double checked regarding the quirks relating to feeding our cat. Photos and updates were also sent through to us at reasonable intervals. We returned home and found the place was just as we left it. And I knew our cat was well looked after (receiving lots of attention) because she wasn't 'needy' for attention when we got home. I would definitely recommend Michelle, and would be happy for her to house sit for us again!"

She even vacuumed for me so there wouldn't be too much pet hair! She also kept in touch with me while I was gone and was very communicative when I had questions.
