Hello,
We are Phil and Annie, retired teachers from Brisbane. We have done many housesits, both short and long term, mostly overseas in various countries. The last couple of years we've been seeing more of Queensland than we previously had, and now we've expanded that to the rest of the country.
Housesitting is a brilliant way to expand one's horizons as well as meeting some wonderful people and some pretty cool animals. Apart from running our own home and maintaining a garden for many years, we've also owned pets and we love animals. We now live in an apartment and really miss having a pet, so looking after your animals as well as your house is a bonus as well as a priority. I've posted photos of a few of the many animals we've cared for in different parts of the world. We respect your routines and ensure that the animals of the household are well cared for and loved so that they do not pine for their owners. In fact we grow attached to them and miss them when their real family is back.
We are adaptable, reliable, flexible and take the responsibility of housesitting seriously. We understand the peace of mind necessary to trust your residence and your beloved pets to strangers, especially on a long term basis.
By the way, we are both vaccinated x4.

Annie looked after my Villa and Tye my standard poodle and companion for 9 days. She was everything one could want in a sitter. The place was left in perfect condition and Tye hardly noticed my return so obviously he had developed a great relationship with Annie. Annie communicated well in all situations that arose and handled her ‘sitting’ with maturity and care. I recommend Annie to anyone looking for a mature, caring and responsible house sitter

This was my first time using a housesitter so I was a little nervous, however felt very at ease upon meeting Annie and Phil particularly as my dogs immediately took to them. Annie responded promptly to my call out I made on housesitters.com.au and after sifting through several applications, and perusing after her credentials, I asked Annie and Phil come from Brisbane and spend some weeks in my large home with the purpose primarily of looking after my two Burmese cats but also to secure the property in my absence. Annie & Phil stayed for 4 days/3 nights and were wonderful. Great communication and lovely people. My house was immaculate on my return, and my animals were very well taken care of. They looked after my goats, chickens and dogs. Also watered my veggie gardens. Nothing was a problem for them to take care of. Annie was a model house sitter! The animals adored her and her husband Phil. The garden and house were beautifully maintained, and the animals seemed happier than before I left. Annie was very flexible when I made a mistake with the dates, and so I am so grateful for her accommodating nature. Would 10/10 recommend.

Annie looked after my house and my dog Roxie really well when i was away at short notice for an interstate wedding. The house was very clean and tidy when I arrived back home and Roxie was happy and healthy, in fact I didn't get a big welcome when I got back as she didn't really miss me at all !! I would definitely recommend Annie and would be happy to have her back next time I am away.

Annie and her husband Phil are both lovely and looked after our flat and our cats really well when we were away. Our flat was very clean and tidy when we arrived back home and the cats were happy and healthy :). We met Annie and Phil twice before the sit and they are down to earth and very friendly. We would definitely recommend them and would be happy if they would like to look after out place and furrbabies next time we are away.
