We are an older retired couple now settled in Bundaberg after an 18 month travel adventure around Australia. We are still feeling the need to follow the road less travelled and to experience new places and meet new friends along the way

Merv's background is in small engines and Lorna's in accounts management/hospitality and we have lived in Nth Qld and the NT over the course of our lives together. We have managed not to kill each other while working together for many years in our business and have had the joy and frustration of developing a home on acreage that was part of a mango plantation including being owner builders.

We are animal lovers, having had a number of special furbabies over the years with Hugo, a Maltese/Shih Tzu/Poodle cross being the sunshine of our retirement years. Our family has spread their wings across Aus with 11 mostly grown grandchildren that we love dearly

We are non smokers, take great pride in and care of our home and enjoy gardening and pottering around. We are both fully vaccinated

Lorna and Merv looked after our house and pets while we were away for 5 weeks. They were amazing. They came knowing that our dog was very sick and sadly we did lose him while we were still away. Lorna and Merv gave him all the love and care he required and for that we will be forever grateful. They cared for our home wonderfully and we are so glad that they got to spend time enjoying this beautiful part of Victoria and Merv got to have his first snow experience. Lorna and Merv, We can’t thank you enough for looking after our home and our animals. You both are beautiful people and I’m glad we will be staying in Contact. Our Cat Gypsy is missing you so much, I think Merv spoilt her with the laser game. We both hope to see you again one day. Merv and Lorna are very highly recommended. The house was just perfect as was the gardens. Again we thank you so very much. Marissa & Tom (Gypsy..Pepper..Paprika..Chilli..) All thank you for looking after them.
