Longer term House sit WANTED - preferably Sunshine Coast after 10 February.
We are booked up to 10 February. We wish find a long term sit (perhaps 2 to 6 months) after this date.
We have become valued and much sought after house sitters. over the last 2 years - completing over 32 house or farm sits, mainly throughout the Sunshine Coast region, Toowoomba region and Northern NSW. Often we are asked back to do repeat sits.

Kim is a practicing Naturopath (mainly tele-health/online), health lecturer and author with 30 years' experience. Website available on request. Kim has become well practiced at looking after a variety of pets and animals. Nick was a farmer for many years, prior to a city based professional career and his experience includes caring of horses, cattle, sheep and dogs (and cats). His "2nd career" centred on trade development, assisting agribusiness exporters amongst other professional roles.
Nick and Kim are both animal lovers particularly dog lovers who take our responsibilities seriously in relation to other people's animals and property. We also have fun with them too and enjoy the daily walks with dogs when required. We are non - smokers, fit, active and healthy.
We both believe in caring for animals in a gentle and quiet manner and we have been able to establish good relationships with all the animals we have looked after, and their owners!
Background: Throughout 2020 and 2021 we travelled Australia (since sold our van) and prior to that we were living in Maclean NSW and for many years, Brisbane.
We would prefer a Queen size bed (find a double is not big enough for 2) or if not then 2 separate beds of any sizes is fine.

Nick and Kim did an amazing job and I highly recommend them. Kim even cleaned some of my windows as I’d hurt my knee sometime prior to going away. The pets were healthy and happy and the house and garden in a better condition than when I left. It was a pleasure to get to know them and I wish them well on their travels

We were delighted to have Nick & Kim care for our home & pets whilst away holidaying.
We were lucky we were able to engage them fairly quickly for our sit and they were very easy to communicate with and very easy to get along with.
We were kept informed with any updates & photos when we were able to check in.
It was wonderful to return to a beautifully cleaned house and fully mowed yard (all was very well cared for) and our pets cleaned up after and well fed and attended to.

Nick and Kim made being absent from our home and dogs so much easier. They bonded with our dogs and cared for them like their own (as our neighbours have all told us) which is pleasing.
Our home was immaculate when we returned, even the BBQ got a spring clean!
We had regular updates on our dogs which we loved.
They had some home renovations still in progress that weren't planned (delayed outdoor project) and just accepted that despite the house not being 100% as they initially inspected.

Kim and Nick were a delight to have as housesitters. From the time that we first met them and until we arrived home, we felt at ease. When we arrived home the house was sparkling clean and the lawns and gardens were in perfect condition. We hope that they are available next time we require a house sitter. Would recommend them to family and friends.
Nick and Kim were exceptional house sitters. Their communication from the initial contact through to post sit was regular and reassuring. Charlie, Jazz, Milo and Rosie were very well cared for, our horses even ridden! We felt we could have a restful holiday as our home and animals were in very competent and caring hands. Nick and his wife Kim house sat for us while we were away on holidays. They were fabulous from the get go.
The phone calls, FaceTime, messages were all very responsive and informative.
They looked after the house amazingly, we left them with 4 dogs and all went well.
If you’re looking for a couple who are trustworthy and reliable you’ll be lucky if your dates fit in with theirs as you won’t find better people to look after your home and animals.
Kim & Nick were brilliant. Having never used a house/farm sitter before it was daunting to consider, but from our first meeting they truly put our mind at ease. They were meticulous with instructions. All animals were extremely well cared for, far beyond expectations. Kim and Nick are the perfect housesitters! We knew we could trust them the minute we met them before housesitting and our first impression of respectful and intelligent people was with no doubt confirmed.
Our house and yard were immaculate when we came back, our dog was clearly very happy and relaxed. The communication with Kim and Nick was always friendly and efficient. We highly recommend them and would be extremely happy if they housesat for us again.

Kim and Nick are the most amazing house sitters I could have imagined.
During their stay from May to Sept 22, they went above and beyond: Apart from completing all the usual housesitting chores, they absolutely loved my animals and efficiently mastered a number of smaller and larger challenges along the way, including a roof leak. Nick and Kim house sat our property for 2 weeks with no issues. The animals were well looked after and spoilt with love, the house was immaculate on our return, even our lawns were neat and tidy!

We were lucky enough to have Nick and Kim come and house sit for a week. Usually it is a huge task organising house sitters, and in the past we end up sending our horses to specialised agistment because I've never really trusted anybody with them.
